TASK 12 - PORTRAIT
Level 2 Certificate in Art and Design students are introduced to portraiture in the early stages of their course For this task, we have let students choose their inspirations and take the lead in terms of media and technique development.
Students gather relevant information and trial portraiture painting styles and techniques to establish and refine an outcome to present. Many choose to do self-portraits as we get to present our own self expression this way and to develop contextual awareness in art
The results are impressive, varied and show increased skill in not only technique, but in story telling Task 11 was photography which supported the planning for this task
