CAMBRIA QUARTZ
MADE IN THE USA
UNMATCHED QUALITY
Every Cambria surface is made in America at Cambria’s family-owned facility where quality is controlled from start to finish.
Cambria starts with only the purest white quartz, transforming one of Earth’s hardest minerals into exceptionally beautiful and durable surfaces that resist scratches and chips.
LOW MAINTENANCE Cambria surfaces will never need sealing, reconditioning, or polishing. Simply wash with warm water, a soft cotton cloth, and mild soap, if desired. They are also nonabsorbent, so spills won’t become stains.

FULL LIFETIME WARRANTY
SUPERIOR CUSTOMER SERVICE
Cambria is backed by a transferable Full Lifetime Warranty. Transferable means the coverage is passed on to anyone who purchases the home. A warranty this strong can add to the value of a home.
Cambria is committed to providing the best experience in the industry. From first look to final touch, Cambria’s extraordinary service lasts long after installation.

• Think about your lifestyle: Are you an avid cook? Is it a family space? Do you entertain large groups often?
• Set your budget.
• Evaluate your existing kitchen: Do you need more storage? Larger prep surfaces? What do you love? What do you want to change?
• Leave room in your budget for the upgrades and extra touches that catch your eye as your project unfolds.
• Focus on your needs first, wants second.

PERSONALIZE
• Measure the size/square footage for spatial planning.
• Make selections that can meet your timeline and don’t start your project until all of your pieces have arrived.
• Think about the infrastructure, such as electrical or plumbing concerns. • Determine dining and entertaining needs. • Make sure your workflow in the space works for you.
• Choose quality USA-made products like Cambria to minimize risk of your selections not being available or arriving damaged.
• Customize to your family’s daily living, with open shelving, wall hooks, and storage solutions. • This is when you may be inspired as to where to showcase heirlooms, artwork, and collectibles. • Add DIY elements like wallpaper or a bold paint color to a wall or two.
3 HARDWARE In addition to visual appeal, cabinet and drawer knobs and pulls should be in proportion to the doors and drawers on which they’ll be used.

6 BIGGEST MISTAKES TO AVOID OVERLOADING WITH CABINETS Physically and visually too many upper cabinets will feel cramped and destroy beautiful sight lines. NOT ENOUGH STORAGE Be thoughtful about planning for storage. Fewer upper cabinets and more highly functional base cabinets combined with open wall shelves and racks along with a closet pantry will be much more effective. NOT ENOUGH LIGHTING Add statement pendant lights over your sink and island, but don’t expect those statement lights to light your work areas. CABINETS
COUNTERTOPS
You’ll use your cabinetry every day, and it’s very expensive to replace—so if you are replacing, invest in the best quality you can afford.
Nonabsorbent surfaces that are easy to keep clean are the name of the game here. Cambria is a beautiful and durable American-made quartz surface that boasts a transferable Full Lifetime Warranty.
do
Ask your contractor to add support backing to walls where you may want to install shelving later on your own. Give yourself time to take a breath and be thoughtful where the option presents itself.
Leave walls primed for awhile, if you can't decide on a color. Live in the space for a bit and paint when you feel ready.
Design shown: HAWKRIDGE™
Enjoy the process. Renovating is stressful, especially when you are living in it. Don't feel as though you need to finish spaces all the way down to the décor—you may regret hasty decisions. Décor is where your personality really shines, so enjoy the journey.
SMALL SPACES An intimate kitchen can still be beautiful and functional. Consider these tips to optimize your space. THE GOODS: A standard 30- to 36-inch-wide oven and cooktop range can often take up much needed countertop space. Look for conveniently sized 20- to 24-inch-wide ranges that can slide into tight spaces. If passages are tight, consider a side-by-side refrigerator; the doors require less

room to swing open.
PRO TIPS
THINK VERTICAL: Eliminate the soffit and extend cabinets all the way to the ceiling. You can keep infrequently used items up high.

EMBRACE COLOR: Bright hues can infuse energy and bounce light around a room. Consider a light backsplash paired with darker cabinetry and countertops to open up the kitchen. GET CREATIVE: Look for space-saving dishwashers. You’ll find 24-inch models with all the cycles you’re accustomed to. Instead of a breakfast nook or kitchen table, add a counter bar with stools, or better yet, create a peninsula that provides seating and a delightful transition between spaces.

deconstruction of a space FUNCTIONAL STYLE Use floating shelves to display collectible barware and new or vintage pieces like this stainless steel and brass growler that keeps your brew cold and carbonated. And keep an ice bucket handy along with a gorgeous long charcuterie board for a collection of snacks during the game.
TRANSITIONAL DESIGN This U-shaped bar provides the perfect transition from the rest of the room by elevating the bar countertop. And maintaining Cambria Portrush™ on the counters and backsplash creates a uniform look that is not only stunning with its glossy finish and cool navy blue veining, but is durable and virtually maintenance free for easy cleanup.
MAXIMIZE SPACE When planning seating for a bar, it doesn't need to be huge. Here, a 12-inch overhang is ample enough to slide barstools underneath. These clean, modern barstools in faux leather and black instantly modernize a space with a pop of color and warmth.

SMALL KITCHENS BIG ON DESIGN
Older homes are full of charm, but it can be stressful to work in a small, oddly shaped kitchen. The easy fix would be to completely remodel down to the studs. However, that may not be an option—or even necessary. Here are some examples of how to maximize your existing space and create a gorgeous functional kitchen.
CREATE AN OPEN CONCEPT By adding an arch where a wall used to be and creating space for an oversized Cambria peninsula, this tiny kitchen is completely transformed with airy light and ample room for multiple home cooks, daily living, and the family dog.

deconstruction of a space PURPOSEFUL ADDITIONS Using the wall on the other side of the kitchen for a coffee bar loosens up morning beverage traffic and visually extended the size of the kitchen all while hiding all the necessary appliances for your favorite caffeinated beverage.
CONTINUITY OF MATERIALS A full-height backsplash that matches the Cambria countertop brings continuity and functionality to this sink wall. Today's porcelain sinks are not your grandmother's version. There are options that are beautiful and durable, like this deep Kohler version mounted beautifully under Cambria quartz countertop in Southport™.
HIGH-FUNCTIONING DESIGN By extending the kitchen into the adjoining space, workflow encompasses the peninsula and loosens up the traffic pattern. This entire peninsula was designed using a single slab of Cambria, wrapped beautifully around the black painted chimney and transition arch wall.
THOUGHTFUL DESIGN STATEMENTS Although black can darken and make a space feel small, when used properly it can modernize and provide a strong statement and focal point. Here, it plays perfectly with the Cambria countertop and works as a gorgeous textured backdrop for a collection of beautiful wood pieces within reach.

1 You can almost hear the ocean with all the tranquil calm in this kitchen. The cabinets and countertops set a strong design tone for the rest of the space. 2 Instead of painting your cabinets, if they are solid wood, try stripping and “pickling” them. The more wood grain, the better the end result. 3 If your windows and frames are wood, pickle those
as well. Or consider replacing the frames and painting the window trim white. 4 Bring in some warmth and texture with a basket-style light. This softens the space and marries well with a wood floor. 5 Cambria Swanbridge™ for the countertop and backsplash with its light, marbled background, gray swells, and charcoal accentsevokes the beauty of stony
