Parents’ Association Welcome Drinks
It was fantastic to finally welcome CGS parents back on campus at the start of 2021 for our Welcome Drinks. The Parents’ Association kindly put on separate Welcome Drinks for our Junior, Middle and Senior School parents and although they were moved outdoors due to COVID-19 restrictions this year, the CGS parents turned up in droves which was a great sign of our school community.

The Class of 2020, their parents and teachers finally gathered at the MCG to congratulate and farewell our Senior Students at their Valedictory function in March. Last year’s School Captain, Geoffrey Gong, spoke movingly about the group and their experiences, and about what they had to celebrate. It was wonderful to be together to commend their achievements, and to wish them well as they commence the next stage of their journey.
Alumni from 1977 to 2017 spoke about their careers and experiences at Careers Night. Year 10 boys and their parents attended panels on Business/ Finance, Design/Creative Media, Engineering, Entertainment, Health, Law and Society, Medicine, and Science/Technology.
After the presentations the speakers gathered in Kingussie for drinks and the chance to connect with other Alumni. Thank you to all the speakers who made time in their busy schedules to attend.
