The Camberwell Culinary Awards returned this year to promote the food and dining category. The campaign gave members of the public the ability to vote for their favourite food venues in Camberwell Junction for the chance to win $500 to spend in the precinct. Congratulations to the winning traders in the awards: Provence Artisan Bakers (Best Coffee), Provence Artisan Bakers (Best Brunch), Glenferrie Crepe Cafe Camberwell (Best Sweet Treat), La Cabra (Best Drinking Spot), Con Noi Italian Trattoria (Best Casual Dining), Franco Belge (Best Fine Dining), Boost Juice (Best Healthy Option), and Chargrill Charlie’s (Best Takeaway). We look forward to drumming up more interest for next year’s awards.

We recently ran minor marketing activities including a spring promotion to highlight shops and services for the season. This included social media posts, as well as an editorial series on the website. We also published the latest edition of The Camberwell Citizen which is now available in the precinct and will be distributed across the Christmas and summer period.

To leverage the popularity of Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales, we’re running a radio advertising campaign on Fox FM to encourage in store visits and digital advertising to promote your sales and offers.

Our online marketing activities continue to yield strong results. Here’s a snapshot of Camberwell Junction’s digital audience numbers:

• More than 8100 email addresses in our subscriber database

• More than 173,000 visits to the websites over the past year

• More than 9700 followers on social media.
