WEST VIRGINIA LEADERSHIP JOURNEY

SEVENTH GRADE FALL 2025

A four-night unplugged journey with our partner Experience Learning to Monongahela National Forest, where students will immerse themselves in the mountains of West Virginia to connect with their peers and expand their perspectives, which is an important step toward becoming more confident and environmentally-aware leaders. Transportation: Students will travel by coach bus to the Experience Learning campus in Monongahela National Forest.

NEW MEXICO LEADERSHIP JOURNEY

SEVENTH GRADE FALL 2025

A five-night unplugged journey with our partner World Leadership School to a Native American reservation near Pueblo de Cochiti, where students will immerse themselves in the indigenous lands, history, and culture of New Mexico to connect with their peers and learn from elders and local leaders at a community school. PUERTO RICO

LEADERSHIP JOURNEY

SEVENTH GRADE SPRING 2026

A six-night unplugged journey with World Leadership School, where students will immerse themselves in a small community outside Old San Juan, Puerto Rico to connect with their peers and examine Puerto Rico’s deep cultural roots, beautiful wildlife, and rich history. Students will meet local leaders working to better Puerto Rico’s future after centuries of colonization and environmental devastation. Click here for a video overview.

COSTA RICA

LEADERSHIP JOURNEY

EIGHTH GRADE FALL 2025

A seven-night unplugged journey with our partner World Leadership School, where students will immerse themselves in a small village to connect with their peers, examine concepts of conservation and responsible tourism, and participate in challenge-by-choice activities in the Costa Rican jungle. ONE COUNTRY, TWO PARALLEL EXPERIENCES

The Costa Rica Leadership Journey willl be split into two cohorts. One group will travel to Chilamate and another to the community of Santa Maria de Dota.

LEADERSHIP JOURNEY

EIGHTH GRADE FALL 2025

A seven-night unplugged journey with the Cape Eleuthera Institute, where students will live sustainably on the campus of The Island School in the Bahamas and engage with local community members while exploring issues of marine conservation, invasive underwater species, mangrove and reef growth, and aquaponics.
