Glorifying God With Money I believe you will all agree that money serves a big role in our lives. Well, the Bible also conforms, containing 2,000 verses that all tackle about money and greed resulting to fifteen percent of Jesus’ recorded words. However, here comes the spiritual significance of money as a tool to glorify God. If you’re thinking like, ‘I thought money is evil’, then let us go back to 1 Timothy 6:10, “For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.” Money itself is not the source of sinfulness, but how we perceive and use it. Praising God with money is really a simple mission when you put Him at the center of your life. One significant example from Zacchaeus in Luke 19:9, "When Jesus said to Zacchaeus, 'Today salvation has come to this house’, this man attained salvation because of his willingness and eagerness to part with his money for the glory of God and for the welfare of others." Glorify God with money, instead of glorifying God and money. As stated in Matthew 6:24 “No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.”
