Choir and Orchestra rehearse on Wednesday evenings. They spend time praying for one another and practicing worship music for Sunday morning as well as for Festival of Lights and other events. Open rehearsals take place September 10, 17 and 24.

We’ll dig into key questions of the Christian faith like, “What is the gospel?” and “How do you live out your faith with others?” While we discuss what it means to be a disciple of Christ, we’ll also model it for one another. Wednesday Fellowship Dinner is served from 5:00 to 6:30pm in the Fellowship Hall. Cost: All meals are $4 per person, with a $20 cap for families. Imagine a gourmet chef, a quality meal, a dinner with family and friends at a really low price and no dirty dishes to clean up afterwards. Every week at Wednesday Fellowship Dinner, you get just that. We feature two options:
WFD Dinner: Main entrée of the night with sides, roll and salad bar Youngster’s Buffet (Ages 16 and under): Choice of one entrée and three sides or two entrées and one side. • Entrée Choices: pizza slice, hot dog, ham & turkey wrap, Chef’s Choice entrée • Side Choices: mac n’ cheese, apple wedges, baby carrots, applesauce, chips, 2% milk, orange juice Both the WFD meal and the Youngster’s Buffet include bottomless drinks from our beverage station as well as an ice cream cup.

KIDS-N-ACTION is designed to foster social interaction through chosen electives, while facilitating spiritual growth in learning from the book of James how to “put your faith into action.” Electives include: Super Sports, Amazing Art, Stitches, Globe-Trotters, Karate Kids, Kid Vs. Li’l KIDS-N-ACTION* Three and Four-Year-Olds 6:30-7:50pm | Room 250 Li’l Kids-N-Action will be learning portions of James chapter one, as they hear stories of kids in the Bible who demonstrated faith-in-action! This program is reserved for the children of those who are serving or participating in a Calvary-sponsored ministry on Wednesday nights. *Please note that parents of children birth through first grade must remain in the building during KidsN-Action.
LUMIN8 Kids Choir Four-Years-Old - Sixth Grade 5:45-6:35pm | Room 251 LUMIN8 will proclaim God’s glory in a variety of performances throughout the year: Sunday morning services, a Christmas program, and a spring concert. Songs on the CD will be original music written by our Children’s Ministry, and will include memorization songs from the book of James, a “big church” sermon series song, and several others directly related to our programming. Refuge Fifth-Sixth Grade 6:30-8:00pm | Room 109 The school week can be tough. Homework, activities and the pressures of school make your life busy. That’s why we offer refuge every Wednesday night. It’s a great time of fun and encouragement where we play games and learn about God with a small group of Christian friends. You can join Refuge any time in the school year, just show up!
Oasis Seventh-Eighth Grade 6:30-8:00pm | Room 108 Oasis is our Wednesday night small group program! Whatever your reason in coming, Oasis is an awesome place for 7th and 8th grade students! We’ll play games, hear a brief talk, and break up into our groups. You can join Oasis any time, just show up!
Special Needs Adult Classes 6:00pm | Rooms Listed Below Art Class (Room 112): Being creative with a variety of mediums is the focus of this art class. Choir (Chapel): This group spends time learning new songs and singing old favorites. Several times a year they assist or lead with worship. Scripture Intake (Room 207): Listening to God’s Word along with a brief discussion is their focus. Sign Language (Room 211): In this class, individuals are instructed in basic sign language and encouraged to use sign language to participate in worship.

A community for adults with special needs and those who join them who enjoy the fellowship of others, communicating with God through prayer and song and growing spiritually through the teaching of God’s Word. All ages and abilities are welcome!
