Dinner is served Monday through Saturday nights*, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. On occasion, when business in the Club is quiet, dinner service may finish earlier than the aforementioned time.

7. TAKEOUT SERVICE

The Club can arrange takeout orders for your office or home. Dependent on what you would like, we need just a few hours to one day’s notice. Orders will be kept at the Reception Desk for you to pick up at the scheduled hour. The Club does not have a delivery service.

8. CHILDREN

Members are requested not to bring children into the Club who are of an age or disposition likely to be the cause of embarrassment or inconvenience to other members and their guests. This is especially true during the service of breakfast and lunch in the common rooms of the Club and during happy hour.

9. ALCOHOL SERVICE

Alcoholic beverages may be served to members and their guests during the hours scheduled for lunch and dinner in the various

4

common rooms of the Club. At no time will the service of alcohol commence before 10:00 a.m. Alcohol service is also available in the Sports Bar, the Renfrew Lounge and the Woodbend Lounge during the hours between lunch and dinner. The termination of alcohol service on a nightly basis will be determined by a number of factors, including the volume of business and the legal time limits set by the Gaming and Liquor Act of Alberta. Generally speaking though, termination throughout the Club will be 11:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 12:30 midnight on Friday and Saturday nights. Members are reminded that neither staff nor members shall under any circumstances serve or permit the service of alcoholic beverages to any persons under the age of 18. The Club will ask for proof of age when a person of questionable age (i.e., anyone who appears to be less than 25 years of age), requests alcohol service. No alcoholic beverages shall be consumed on the Club premises unless purchased from the Club, with the exception of a commercially manufactured sealed bottle(s) of wine. This is commonly called the “BYOB” program, and there will be a corkage fee for this service.

No homemade wine, and no other kind of alcoholic beverages are allowed, under any circumstances. Alcoholic beverages purchased from the Club must be consumed on the premises (with the exception of partial bottles of wine, which may betaken home by Members once staff have “re-corked” the bottle and placed it in a suitable bag for carrying out of the Club). In accordance with the Gaming and Liquor Act of Alberta, the consumption of alcohol is limited to the room in which it is served and may not be carried into the public areas of the Club. Collaterally to the aforementioned statement, Members and guests are strongly reminded that they must not use the stairs while carrying drinks (which sometimes happens when people go out of the Club to have a cigarette, for example). Liquor may be sold only by the glass. No member shall purchase alcoholic beverages for any employee of the Club or any entertainer in the employ of the Club.

The Club does have a policy with regard to the service of alcohol. The policy obliges Management and Senior Club Personnel to 5

terminate the service of alcohol to members and their guests if it is apparent that these individuals are intoxicated or will shortly be intoxicated if service continued. Members are requested not to question the decision to terminate service at that time, but rather, contact Management the next day or write a letter to the Board outlining your concerns. Taxi vouchers are available from the Reception Desk for those who wish to charge the cost of a taxi ride home to their Club account.
