The Calgary Petroleum Club is honoured to be included on the Platinum Clubs of the World 2026-2027 ballot.
Calgary Petroleum Club was founded in 1948 with meetings originally held at the historic Fairmont Palliser Hotel. Once enough funding was collected and appropriate land purchased, our club took shape in the heart of downtown Calgary on 5th Avenue SW.
Our club has been a proud member of the ChaÎne des RÔtisseurs since April ,6, 2002 and our General Manager is the current Chancelier du Canada.
We were granted our own Coat of Arms on November 22, 1991. The Club with this honour, was once again recognized as a very special institution in the City of Calgary.

CPC members are deeply committed to philanthropy, regularly hosting fund raisers and championing clubled initiatives. Each year, their efforts include food and monetary drives in support of the Calgary and Veterans Food Banks, along with Toy Mountain, which brings hope to at-risk children and teens across the city.

Launched in the fall of 2022, we have been privileged to feature an incredible lineup of guests and our audience continues to grow each week.
A pinnacle achievement has been reaching our 100th episode, a milestone that only 7% of all podcast series ever achieve.
We pride ourselves on the communication with our members, which includes weekly newsletters by email and a seasonal club magazine, Club Connections.
The Calgary Petroleum Club is operated by a Board of Governors and an experienced management team. The Board is made up of 16 elected Club Members, who serve a two- year term, while the President serves a one- year term. Representing the vision of the Club and the needs of the Members, the Board strives to make the services, amenities and offerings of the Club the very best they can be.
Our Board nominates the number of candidates as there are vacancies. We have not had an election in the 35-year tenure of our current GM. The Nominating Committee seeks direct GM participation in the Nominee process. The Executive selects new candidates to the Executive as we strive for a balance of experience in different disciplines (finances, legal etc.) for a well-rounded Board.
We are a very busy club. Our core membership is nearing 1,300 with an extended membership of closer to 3,000. Audited revenues for the 20242025 were $10,374,900 with an excess of revenue over expenses of $431,000.
Toni-Marie Ion-Brown 2024 CMAC Club Manager of the Year
Dear Toni and Luis,
Just a quick thank you again for pouring the Taylor Fladgate 1997 Vintage Port as the finale of the Chaine des Rotisseurs Diner Amical on Saturday, September 6th, 2025 at the Petroleum Club. The entire evening was spectacular!
The Como Agua Para Chocolate was likely one of the best desserts we have ever had and the surprise of showing the 1997 vintage (our daughter Emily’s birth year) was just over the top! (spiced chocolate molten cake, horchata crème anglaise, rose water, cocoa nib brandy snap)
Cheers, Linda Linda Robinson President, Pacific Wine & Spirit
