Every child is unique and looks different. The answer should be “YES”. But……when I was a child, I feel I am just normal.

Can you see me where am I?

No? You didn’t?
O yes, I am just normal. I am not fat or skinny, short or tall. I am not smart, not cute, not clever. I am super normal, a traditional, ordinary, typical Hong Kong children.
This moment is only way to make me feel I am special, A Goose Goose Duck (Hong Kong style) in outdoor play.

Every children sitting on the ground, one of a child throws a handkerchief at another child’s back. Then, it is a time to run and chase. I needs to run around the circle and catch him before sitting on my spot.
Every child is waiting for the handkerchief, I pay so much attention to my back, I feel the airflow, I hear the footsteps coming close, and I sense people kneeling down, which means, is ready to go.

When I am chasing the child in front of me, I see the sun shining, I feel the wind coming through to my face and the tree leaves are dancing. I smell the grass is fresh and earthy, I see the grass is green. And I can hear the children cheering me. This is the precious moment to feel this is me. I really enjoy running.

I run very fast and always catch them so easily, I am unbeatable and special.
I always hear miss kong say, “Well done Ka Lun, you run so fast” and give me a high five when I win the game.
She always likes a lens to let me know who I am.

This is me. It is a man who enjoys the wind through my face, sunlight shining on my body and I hear the footsteps and cheering sound.

To my dearest ECE, miss kong. Thank you to make me feel special.
