Nancy Williams Tonight’s front cover is in tribute to Nancy Williams who we sadly lost during lockdown. Nancy, a life member and lifelong supporter followed Caldicot Town home and away for many years, with her husband Mel, who, was chairman of our club at one point. Nancy’s son, Mike, played and managed our club as well. Nancy continued to follow the 1st team after Mel’s passing, becoming a very known supporter throughout South Wales who always shared her peppermints and toffees with all supporters (including opposition supporters). Many a referee has felt the wrath of Nancy as well as many players for their language. We shall miss Nancy on matchdays…. “thank you, driver,” (if you know..you know – for the bus crew)
