were on the Indio Costco project for almost three months and this job required a lot of excavation work,” says Gonzalez. “We own and operate Cat equipment that we have purchased and rented from Johnson Machinery over the years. Just as with our employees, we only work with the best and that includes the machinery we use out on our job sites.” MG Construction & Electric currently has two pieces of Cat machinery, including a new Cat 259 track loader and a 2005 Cat 303 mini excavator. “I grew up working with Cat machines, and I prefer Cat over any other brand,” says Gonzalez. “They are the standard in our industry and working with Johnson Machinery, and their sales representative, Jose Farias and all of Johnson's service and support staff has been nothing but great since I began doing business with them in 2003.” Gonzalez has also purchased several Cat generators from Johnson Machinery over the years, with plans to add to their fleet with a new excavator soon. “Other equipment companies have come and gone, but Johnson Machinery has always been there for us when we needed them,” says Gonzalez. “I am looking at upgrading to a new Cat 308 (308E2 CR mini excavator) excavator soon. I want to go a little bigger so that we can better handle some of the larger grading and demolition jobs that are coming our way more often.” Gonzalez makes it clear that he wants to continue to grow his business intelligently with
