Growing up on her family’s cow/ calf operation in San Diego County, Sarah’s background in the beef business, paired with her leadership experience through 4-H and FFA, as well as her agricultural studies at OSU, led her to the program. “Once I got into FFA, I got really involved in the leadership aspect and found a love for the agriculture industry,” Sarah said.
