DESIGN STATEMENT
The design inspiration for the "Devourer One" spacecraft originates from bacteriophages. The story is set in a post-apocalyptic Earth ravaged by a devastating nuclear war. During the conflict, Boen Technologies acquired advanced nuclear technology and initiated a space colonization program. The spacecraft design not only addresses functionality but also delves into complex themes such as technology, ecology, and human survival.
Visual Innovation: The shape and structure of the Devourer One spacecraft mimic that of a bacteriophage, creating a captivating visual experience. Both the exterior and interior designs are inspired by the structure of bacteriophages, aiming to attract viewers' attention and enhance the immersive nature of the story through its unique form and detailed design.
Thematic Exploration: The spacecraft's ecosystem showcases the double-edged sword effect of technological advancement. The inclusion of mutated fungi highlights the potential risks of technological experiments and explores the profound impact of technology on ecosystems. By demonstrating the fungi's mutation and its consumption of both the spacecraft and the target star system, the design seeks to provoke thought about the complex relationship between technology and ecology.
Social Reflection: The design of the Devourer One also aims to reflect the inequality of power and resources in modern society. The control of nuclear technology and the spacecraft by a tech company symbolizes the concentration of technology and resources in today's world. Through this setting, the design encourages contemplation on how technological progress impacts social structures, particularly in the context of global challenges and space exploration, and how to balance power and responsibility.

What is the boundary between virtual reality and the real world? How do we perceive and question the environment we are in. What about us confirm whether the reality we experience is still being manipulated by some higher-level system. The game also aims to explore the relationship between virtual reality and real life. Alex's experience reflects the confusion people face in the rapidly developing technological environment of modern society. With the popularization of virtual reality technology, many people may find themselves increasingly dependent on the virtual world, which has triggered thinking and reflection on real life. The adventures experienced by players in the game force them to reflect on their choices and values in real life. https://youtu.be/DJvdngIi0M8

Are you ready to embark on this strange adventure and explore the truths hidden behind Data Island?

DESIGN BACKGROUND
In a world abandoned by war and technology, ancient giants once ruled the continent. However, one day, for some reason, they died in large numbers, leaving only huge remains scattered all over the place. The most precious relics are the heads and brains of the giants. The giant's brain contains mysterious crystals of energy, which are so full of energy that they are the most precious resource on the continent. They are not only the object of contention among countless tribes, but also the coveted wealth of many. COLLAGE FOR
DESIGN STATEMENT
In this cruel land, the Kawah people, a race that regards the remains of giants as gods. They worshipped the greatness of giants and fashioned those giant heads into huge moving bunkers. These bunkers were not only the habitat of the Kawah, but also powerful fortifications. Each bunker is carefully modified, and the energy crystals contained in the giant's brain are extracted and used to power the bunker. These giant bunkers do not stand still, they are equipped with mechanical spider legs, they are able to travel freely in the desert, like monsters between the vast sand dunes. Their appearance makes countless greedy people jealous. Bounty hunters, desert pirates, marauders... All who yearn for the giant's legacy. For the Kawah, however, the giant's head is not only a symbol of wealth, but also a sacred relic, the core of their faith and the guarantee of survival. The desert world is full of danger and chaos, but in this vast land, the Kawah people never give up the protection of the remains of the giant. The story is set in a seemingly wasteland world, but through their faith and protection of the remains of giants, the Kawah people show a sense of hope for life. Even in the midst of ruin and despair, they did not give up their quest for the future. The presence of giant relics is not only a memorial to past glories, but may also be the seed of future revival.

The Head Fortress blends steampunk elements from Mortal Engines and symbolic themes from Prometheus, representing survival, ancient ruins, humanity’s origins, and the mysteries of existence.
