14 December 2013 I WOULD LIKE TO TELL YOU MY STORY. Since I was a child, I loved food. Not because I was hungry, but because I was obsessed with the flavors, the smells and the colors that make one’s mouth water. This is because my mother was a skilled cook. She would pull inviting and delicious dishes out of the oven that were appreciated by the whole family. When she cooked, she felt satisfied and didn’t feel like a housewife anymore. Instead, she felt like a five star chef. On the other hand, my father was strict and very realistic about life. When my father didn’t like something, he would yell, “Mangna e Tasi!” (eat and be quiet!). I never forgot this raw phrase that was so straight forward: food, however, is the fruit of work and sacrifice. So I decided to dedicate my Prosecco to him “Magna, Bevi e Tasi”, (eat, drink and be quiet). This is how I grew up. Slowly my passion grew stronger and transformed into an absolute desire to know and to increase my knowledge about the best that the culinary world has to offer. I’m lucky to be Italian and be able to choose products of unequaled absolute quality from the North to the South of this country. All of this made it possible for my dream to come true, allowing me to work in the field I love. For twenty years I have chosen my basic ingredients with meticulousness and professionalism, transforming them into appropriate recipes and products that today, for me, are true culinary excellencies called “Ca Foresto”. Along with my staff with whom I share everything with enthusiasm, determination and patience, there is also my companion Samira. She is always present with clarity and constructive criticism in order to reach the most important business decisions. We dedicate all of our hard work to those who know how to appreciate and understand our emotions and satisfactions that were felt in making this happen. Our promise is that for the years to come, we’ll continue to work hard without compromise to show what we strongly believe in: ABSOLUTE QUALITY.
