Phillip Kingsbury is a Malmesbury artist who is known predominantly for his lino cut artwork. Phillip loves the slow processes involved in printmaking including, sketching, re-sketching and planning the pieces making sure each has enough light and dark; then the very time-consuming carving process, the rolling of the ink and the first reveals of the back-to-front creations.
Phillip takes a lot of inspiration from his beautiful home town of Malmesbury and the local scenery and wildlife.
