2016 CADY COVER When we said, “Let’s carry a couch to the Country Scene,” Brittani was with it. Treading through high grass and mud was nothing for her. Brittani instantly turned on model mode and we got our shot.
LAST YEAR’S COVER GIRL We caught up with last year’s cover girl, Halie to see her reaction to being on the cover and to share her advice for upcoming seniors. “When I saw myself on the cover, I was so excited and happy with the way it turned out. The best advice I could give to someone planning their session is to relax and just have fun. A session is your scheduled photo shoot at Cady Studios. It could be basic including Yearbook & Cap & Gown, or an all-out model experience.
FAQ All of your burning questions, answered by our team.
When should I book my session? Most students take their pictures the summer between junior and senior year. We recommend booking in June/July to beat the rush. Schedule your session before August 30th to select your yearbook pose.
How do I book my session? Just visit our website– phone, tablet or computer. We’ve made booking your session a breeze. (Payment is due at the time of booking, so bring your credit card.)
Traditional or ELITE... What type of session should I choose? What should I bring to my session? Bring several different outfits, accessories and props. One or two outfits per scene is a good rule of thumb. * F or more tips on how to make the most of your session, check our Pinterest Style Guide
It’s your senior year, so choose the session that fits you best. Cover just the basics and go for one of our Traditional sessions or go all out and spring for an ELITE session, which is the total VIP experience. Turn to page #28 for more details.
What about my yearbook photo? We’ll photograph you in multiple poses for your school yearbook photo. Schedule your session before August 30th to select your yearbook pose. If you are photographed after August 30th, Cady Studios will choose your yearbook pose for you.

How do I get ready for my session?

TIPS from our EXPERTS Our photographers have endless tricks and tips up their sleeves – the kind that will liven up your session in ways you didn’t think possible. Here, they reveal some of their tips for making the most out of your senior session and getting the best images.
It’s best to EAT SOMETHING an hour or so before your session begins so that you will have energy to express yourself.
GET PLENTY OF SLEEP the night before ‘cause we are going to make you werrrrrk.
POSTURE MAKES THE PICTURE. Sitting and standing up straight makes a big difference.
PRACTICE POSING at home in front of the mirror so you feel more comfortable when you’re in front of the camera.
LEAVE YOUR INHIBITIONS AT HOME. This is your opportunity to declare your individuality to the world.
GUYS – Freshen up your look with a haircut a few days before your session. GIRLS – Make sure your roots and nails are camera ready. FEEL FREE TO ASK YOUR PHOTOGRAPHERS QUESTIONS. We have suggestions and advice, leading to an awesome end result.
SMILE Showing your teeth makes a better picture as opposed to smiling just with your lips.
RELAX Nerves can get the best of you... if you let them. Being in front of the camera can be harder for some than others. The more relaxed you are, the better your pictures will be. Come to your session ready to have fun. HAVE AN EXTRA OUTFIT (OR TWO); you might fall in love with another scene.
