10:00 Time for your in-studio scenes!

While you may not want all of the fashion you’d see watching the movie Clueless in your closet, here’s a handful of 90’s fashion trends that are back in style that you might want to consider for your senior portraits. Head on over to our Pinterest Style Guide for more 90’s inspiration.

COMBAT BOOTS Combat boots are back and look great paired with shorts, dresses and skinny jeans.

PLAID Plaid. It’s not just for lumberjacks anymore.

GRUNGE This less is more, function meets fashion 90’s trend will have you thinking it’s time for a new Pandora station.

ROMPERS One part dress, two parts shorts. This 90’s trend is back for summer at stores like Forever 21 and Urban Outfitters to name a few.

Every school has a specific deadline for the last day you can be photographed for the yearbook, and for the last day you are able to select your own yearbook pose. FIND OUT THE ANSWERS TO OUR MOST COMMONLY ASKED QUESTIONS.

“Session” simply refers to your photo shoot at Cady Studios. It could range from a basic session including yearbook and cap and gown photos to an allout private photographer experience including in-studio and on-location scenes plus hair and makeup styling.

A.

Most students take senior portraits the summer between their junior and senior year, but book as soon as possible, because appointments fill up fast. Every school has a specific deadline for the last day you can be photographed for the yearbook, and for the last day you are able to select your own yearbook pose. We recommend booking in June and July to make sure you beat yearbook deadlines!

Just visit our website. Phone, tablet or computer, we’ve made booking your session a breeze. (Payment is due at the time of booking, so bring your credit card.)

Good question! For starters, bring several different outfits and accessories. One outfit for each scene you will be photographed on is a good rule of thumb. Check out our Pinterest Style Guide for ideas of what to wear on each of your chosen scenes.

This session is about you, so bring anything that shows off your personality and interests. Props could include athletic uniforms and equipment, musical instruments, cars and, yes, even pets.

We’ll photograph you in multiple poses for your school yearbook photo. If your session takes place before your schools’ deadline, you’ll make it in the yearbook!

If you want to select your pose for the yearbook, we suggest having your session before school starts to make sure you beat all the deadlines. The closer you get to your schools’ cut-off date, the more likely it is that Cady Studios will have to select your yearbook pose for you.

It’s your senior year, so choose the session that fits you best. If you just want to cover the basics, go for one of our Traditional sessions. You’ll only get our in-studio scenes and your proofs are mailed to your home in a leatherette portfolio.

If you’ve been looking forward to going all out, spring for an ELITE Spoil Me session. If you are a hair and makeup artist in the making, consider ELITE Guy (surprise: it’s for girls too!). Our ELITE sessions are the total VIP experience. You get all the in-studio scenes plus amazing on-location scenes, professional hair and makeup options plus you see your images for the first time back at the studio during an exclusive one-on-one ordering session.

Senior portrait day is like prom and the first day of school all rolled into one. But we’re here to help. Check out the getting-ready guide on our website for almost endless wisdom on making the most of your session.
