Ou r workfor ce today i s com posed of th r ee d i s ti n ct g en era tio n s – Baby Boomers (bor n 1946-1964 ) with a p p r oxima tely 9.8 milli on i n Canada, Gen Xers (bor n 1 9 6 5 1 9 8 1 ) with a p p roxima tel y 5.3 m i l l i on i n Canada, and Gen Yer s (b o r n 1 982-2000) with approxi matel y 6 mi l l i on i n Can ad a.
