JAVIER RAMÍREZ LIMÓN
Artista visual, educador y curador. Ha dirigido numerosos proyectos educativos en torno a la fotografía, entre ellos el Programa de Fotografía Contemporánea. Su obra forma parte de las colecciones del Museo de Arte Moderno de Río de Janeiro y Fundación Televisa. En 2009 obtuvo el Startup Award del Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de San Diego.
Visual artist, educator, and curator. He has directed numerous educational projects on photography, including the Contemporary Photography Program. His work forms part of the collections at the Museo de Arte Moderno de Río de Janeiro and the Fundación Televisa. In 2009 he received the Startup Award from the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego.

Es autor de libros y catálogos sobre la obra de Edward Weston, Tina Modotti, Bernice Kolko, Manuel Álvarez Bravo, Franz Mayer, Juan Crisóstomo Méndez, Ruth Lechuga, Agustín Jiménez, Katy Horna, Carlos Jurado y Nacho López.
Curator and critic specialized in photography. He holds his Ph.D. in Art History from the UNAM. He is editor of Alquimia magazine.
