THE MUSTO DINGHY RANGE A dynamic collection that meets the exacting standards of professionals.

Developed with Groupama Team France for the challenges they faced in the America’s Cup, the collection has been made from eco-friendly, superior-stretch, limestonebased neoprene. This lightweight material enhances comfort and fluidity of movement.

This makes it easier to run on the net, grind and hike. But as every thrill-seeking sailor knows, modern foiling boats can make it easy to suffer some serious injuries along the way.

That is why the collection features internal pockets on critical zones for advanced D3O® impact protection.

Cutting-edge D3O® technology is Musto’s impact protection of choice. This is because the pads are flexible within the suit, fitting to the contours of your body. Upon impact, the molecules of these pads lock together and become solid to absorb energy from the hit. By integrating this superior level of protection into the collection, Musto’s innovative dinghy range is safeguarding the new generation of sailor on the newest, fastest boats.

Musto’s Flexlite collection, a firm favourite of the British Sailing Team, features the best neoprene available. By combining a thinner, lighter wetsuit that provides the equivalent warmth of a much thicker garment, this collection provides an amalgam of unrestricted manoeuvrability and unparalleled protection.

Another key focus for the range is thermoregulation; keeping sailors warm in the iciest waters and cool in the warmest.

To do this, products in the collection have been categorised under one of three categories: ThermoHOT, ThermoLIFT or ThermoCOOL.

Durable Water Repellent (DWR) technology is a polymer coating that provides water-resistant protection. This technology repels water, causing water to bead on a garment’s surface. This makes it run off rather than soaking into the fabric.

GORE-TEX® is the fabric version of GORE’s ePTFE material.

Once rolled out into sheets, ePTFE can be laminated onto a variety of fabrics to create two or three layer fabrications for use on Musto garments. All GORE-TEX® fabrics are independently and objectively tested to meet the GORE’s stringent standards.
