Supplies seed to the sower God wants to partner with us to see what He wants done on earth actually done. To do this He gives us “seed” - not literal seed, but ability, gifting, resource, capacity, potential…the list goes one. We are abounding in ‘seed’ that we can sow into boundless areas of life. God’s focus is that the seed we sow will in time produce a RIGHTEOUS harvest, one that puts us in a position to be generous on every occasion possible in order to bless others. So therefore we see here that as we SOW what God has given us, we are positioning ourselves for a harvest of righteousness, impact and even more seed in order to sow more. Bread for Food The comparison in these few words is important. God supplies seed - this seed being the very thing that will produce the grain that makes the bread, but He also supplies bread for food. How powerful is this! Whilst we are in the season of sowing, God will also provide our needs. If we feel to step out of the boat and start sowing for something new, don’t fear - God will provide bread for food whilst we are sowing for the long term. Enriched in every good way The word “enriched” means added richness and value. God doesn’t just want us to be enriched, He wants us to be enriched in every good way. As we operate in kingdom giving and kingdom blessing, we are in the position to be enriched in the right things - the harvest of righteousness that will only produce good things in our lives. Far better to sow God’s way and see Godly results that enrich our lives, than pursue worldly things and get worldly results. This might look good for a moment but doesn’t enrich our lives as God wants to. Be Generous on Every Occasion Imagine if in any situation you encountered, you were able to bring a solution to the problem. If there was a financial need in someone's life, you had the resources to provide for this. If someone had a need of healing, you had the faith to pray for them. If someone needed wisdom, you had the wisdom to bring council and direction to their life. This is the kind of generosity God wants us to operate in. He doesn’t just want us blessed, He wants us blessed so we can be generous on every, single occasion. - Pastor John Ratcliffe
