Tanya Ward Jordan Editor - C4C Federal Exchange Over the last nine (9) years members from the Make it Safe Coalition (MISC) have arranged an assembly of whistleblowers in Washington, DC for an annual conference originally known as Washington Whistleblower’s Week. Once more host organizers of ACORN 8, Ms. Marcel Reid and Mr. Michael McCray, Esq., invited the Coalition for Change (C4C), along with other groups to co-host the 2016 Whistle Blower Summit for Civil & Human Rights. The theme for the annual conference, which took place on July 27-29, 2016 on Capitol Hill, was 1778—Whistleblowers and The First Amendment. Attendees of the free seminar heard from subject matter experts covering a wide array of topic such as: impact of stress on health, judicial misconduct, whistleblower legislative campaigns, and more. The C4C held a panel on Addressing Race Discrimination and Reprisal in the Federal Sector. Panelists discussed race-based complaint trends in the Federal government since the Notification and Federal Employees Anti-discrimination and Retaliation Act of 2002; the C4C formulated accountability and transparency measures as presented to the U.S. Equal

Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) to reform the Federal Equal Employment Opportunity Program; the origin and status of HR 1557-- the Federal Employee Anti-discrimination bill introduced by Rep. Elijah Cummings; and stress reduction strategies to help victims of Federal workplace discrimination improve their health and wellness.

Comply with C4C Communication Protocol which designates one spokesperson to convey its purpose, initiatives, concerns and recommendations to intended parties. Unless otherwise approved in writing by the President, representation of the Corporation is prohibited. Members are to refrain from raising individual concerns under the auspice of the Coalition For Change, Inc. (C4C).

Comply with C4C Communication Protocol which prescribes that internal member communication (i.e., emails) shall stay within C4C member domain and not be shared parties outside communication chain unless originating party provides consent for release.

* Effective January 2016—Individuals must be current on dues to be a C4C Member.
