THE SUNICE BRAND STORY
Sunice was established in 1976 with a commitment to innovate technologies used to protect in extreme conditions to making insulated outerwear for outdoor enthusiasts.
In 1982 Sunice was asked to make the suits that outfitted the first Canadian expedition to the summit of Mount Everest. Sunice also had the privilege of outfitting the first North American woman to climb the summit of Mount Everest.
From these beginnings Sunice continued to build outerwear of remarkable quality. In 1988 Sunice was selected to outfit the Canadian Olympic team and in 2010 Sunice was an Olympic licensee for technical performance wear for the Vancouver games.
In the early 90’s Sunice brought their innovations in performance wear to golf and soon became the preferred choice of outerwear for PGA Tour players. Sunice has been the chosen Brand of Outerwear for Presidents Cup teams since 2011, most recently outfitting both the United States and International teams in the 2017 Presidents Cup.
The Sunice TOUR dominance was validated in 2015 by a Darrel Survey that saw Sunice win every official count, making it the #1 Outerwear Brand on Tour. This recognition was made even more special due to the fact that all players were wearing Sunice by choice and not because they were under contract.
Sunice continues to evolve and lead the market with innovative products of exceptional performance.

DELUXE 4–WAY STRETCH (85% Nylon / 15% Spandex) is our supreme 4-way stretch offered in the women’s RESORT Collection. Offered in the newest richest colors, this fabric is soft, full and exceptionally opaque for all white offerings. The stretch is luxurious and with just the right amount of sheen to be the best choice for women’s top of the line fabric. 20K/20K.
LUSTER II (100% Nylon satin), this exquisite 40 Denier fine satin fabric from Japan is our newest offering for the cozy quilted styles where feminine sheen and lightweight properties are very important. Due to the high quality yarn used for bright colors, this exceptional fabric is waterproof and breathable with full lamination and can be found in women’s RESORT and SOCIETY Collections. 20K/20K.
SILKYTEX STRETCH (100% Polyester) luscious 4-way stretch, has a unique matte sheen and soft hand offered in both women’s RESORT, SPORT and SOCIETY Collections. Highly technical and yet very fashion forward, Silkytex is offered in both 20K/20K and 10K/10K laminations.
SP4 PREMIUM 4-WAY STRETCH (84% Nylon / 16% Spandex) technical stretch is offered as a classic fabric for our running SHAPE PANT program. Not too shiny and not too matte. This fabric is the perfect pant coordinate for all varieties of jacket fabric combinations.
HERRINGBONE FLANNEL (100% Polyester), this heather effect soft herringbone texture almost looks like real wool due to the mixture of CD and normal polyester when cross dyed. Offered in our women’s Eva jacket and throughout women’s SPORT Collection. 20K/20K and 10K/10K laminations.
TLS 3LAYER FABRIC is windproof, waterproof and breathable. The outer face is quiet and soft to the touch and is treated for advance water repellancy.
SUNICE S-STRETCH (100% Polyester), this classic 2-way mechanical stretch is used throughout both men’s and women’s Collections, with various gram weights and yarns to offer the perfect technical performance in both solid and printed applications. One of our proven most trusted running base fabrics Sunice S-Stretch is offered in both 20K/20K and 10K/10K laminations.
WOOL MÉLANGE (100% Polyester) is specially treated, giving the fabric a cozy look and warm feeling. Wool Mélange is featured in both the Eva and Tanya styles in our women’s SOCIETY Collection.

STRETCHKNIT (90% Polyester / 10% Spandex), this medium weight cozy knit fabric is the perfect fabric for our women’s Ski Lodge pullover. The comfort is immediately felt when worn due to the microfiber brushed backing which is anti-pill and anti-microbial. Stretchknit is offered in women’s in both solid colors and printed patterns.
STRETCH FLEECE (52% Polyester / 40% Nylon / 8% Spandex) is our jacket fleece offered in both men’s and women’s LAYERING Collection. The cozy fleece is super warm with insulating properties from both the fleece backing and smooth tightly knitted face fabric.
BODY SHAPER KNIT (89% Polyester / 11% Spandex) is designed with the highest compression to flatter your figure and hold you in without holding you back. All-way stretch, breathable and moisture-wicking.
SUNICE SUPERLITE FXTM is a collection of fabrics geared towards providing the ultimate lightweight comfort for layering. The ability of these fabrics to control the micro climate between the body and the garment is what makes these fabrics unique. Keeping a consistent body temperature is the key to comfort.
ULTRA-LIGHT FX (88% Polyester / 12% Spandex) - A fabric built to regulate body temperature in mild weather conditions. The brushed back on this fabric makes it equally as comfortable as a first or second layer.

THERMORE CLASSIC products are assured to keep you warm! Thermore offers specialized finishing and unique characteristics to their insulations that will enhance such features as a “THIN” profile and extra softness. For this reason, it is used in some SHAPE PANT styles for a super “lean” look.
CLIMALOFT™ insulation contains ultra-fine polyester fibers that traps and holds the body’s natural heat. Unlike many fibers, ClimaLoft™ also stays warm even when it’s wet.
DUPONT HEAT LOFT MIX - Sunice introduces the newest insulation debuting from our long time trusted engineering partner DuPont. HEAT-MX uses proprietary technology to embrace the highest degree of warmth and comfort control levels, by minimizing fluctuations in the core body temperature. JUST FEEL IT!!
COATING
FLEXVENT™, our FlexVent™ fabric is one of the most breathable and most waterproof stretch fabrics on the market. With its unique soft hand feel and super quiet laminate, it’s shocking that this fabric comes with a waterproof rating.
WXTECH™, a proprietory finish to all our Sunice jackets and pants. WxTech™ has a unique formula that allows air to flow freely through the fibers while maintaining maximum breathability of the garment and the ability to repel water. WxTech™ reduces the effects of “wet out”, causing water to bead off the surface of the fabric.
RepelTX is the next generation in water repellency performance. RepelTX modifies fabric at the molecular level by permanently attaching hydrophobic ‘hairs’ to individual fibers that lifts liquids, causing them to bead and roll right off the fabric’s surface. It features a hydrocarbon polymer which is both more ecologically friendly and economically smart compared to competition. The result is excellent performance-liquid repellency that’s breathable, durable and fast drying.
PROTX2, what makes the PROTX2™ technology unique is it’s targeted triple attack against bacteria. By killing harmful and odor causing bacteria and viruses where they start, PROTX2™ can effectively break the chain of infection and thereby greatly reduce the incidence of HAI’s and unwanted odors with effective antimicrobial protection.
