Christi Kroft
REALTOR®
What made you choose a career in real estate?
I’ve spent the majority of my career in sales / customer service. My mom was a C21 Broker/Owner so I grew up in the business. The thought that I could play just a small part in such a major step in someones life, while building lifelong friendships. It was a larger opportunity in sales from something I had been doing.
Do you specialize in a particular type of real estate?
My goal every year is to out do the year before! I love all residential. I have dabbled in property management, commercial, investments... but at the end of the day residential involves more emotions and deeper connections.
What is your main way to expand your client base?
As my kids say ‘you talk to everyone!’ I believe in a strong referral base built on trust and friendship. I feel that if you are genuine in your connection the rest will take care of itself.
What advise would you give someone looking to become a Realtor?
Do your homework. Choose wisely when selecting who you decide to work with - what value do they offer. Know that this is not a get rich quick lane, and as fast as you riseyou can fall.

How do you learn from others in your industry?
I like to watch people... Their interactions / reactions, their views of success, and how they approach the business. I take what I learn from these observations and incorporate the parts that are most important and that align with my business.

How do you prioritize a work-life balance in a demanding profession?
My kids understood the priority of me working. While they weren’t always happy, they have always had an appreciation for what I do and the opportuinites it provides. They know I work, when work calls!
Do you have any goals for the next 5 years?
My goal every year is to out do the year before! Meet more people, have more random conversations, hand out more business cards, be more present, connect with new people, and increase my follow up - the success is automatic.
How do you stand out from other Realtors?
I don’t know that I stand out. I believe in being genuine. I believe that we gravitate to people based on our impression of them and how they make us feel. I believe my success has been a result of that philosophy. There is no sale’s pitch in relationships it should be built naturally.
