How long has Real Legacy been a team?

We have been together since June 2023. Shelby Joined the team in September of 2023

What sets your team apart from competitors?

Our Team serves our clients in 28 counties in Indiana and we operate as a true “Team.” When you contact with one of us, you get all of us. We all study and cross train each other on each of our files. Our clients are relationships and NOT transactions.

What does your real estate team value?

Our real estate team values relationships over all things. Out relationships with God, with each other, out families, our clients,and our affiliate partners.

What is the best advise to anyone wanting to buy a home?

Obtain a preapproval for financing asap and hire a full-time Realtor to represent you! Knowing your buying power is CRUCIAL and is the first step to buying a home! Having a Realtor represent you will assist in saving you the most $, reducing stress, will make the process fun, will explain the documents, negotiate on your behalf, help you through the inspection process, and locating and working with contractors.

What is your best advise for anyone wanting to sell a home?

Work with a Realtor to represent you in the sale of your home ALWAYS! Sellers that have a Realtor represent them obtain 20% more $ in the sale of their home.

What is your best advise to a Real Estate agent wanting to create a Real Estate Team?

Be sure you know what creating a team entails. Managing, recruiting, developing you agents, training, building good culture, and operating your own business can be daunting and time consuming.

What made you choose a career in Real Estate?

I has worked in the customer service industry in one facet or another since I was 17. I wanted a career that was fulfilling and service based. Real Estate is the perfect fit!

How do you stand out from other Realtors?

The way I serve and car for my clients and their families. I have an individual targeted approach customized to each client.

Do you plan on specializing in a particular market or type of Real Estate??

I plan on expanding my practice to Florida and specifically properties on the Southwest coast.

Real Estate is not for the faint of heart. It is not what you see on HGTV. It is all about running a business through and through, being CONSISTENT, and determined. Is there any advice you would give to someone interested in make Real Estate a career?

How you prioritize a work-life balance in a demanding profession?

I don’t like the pharse work-life balance. I dice in on EVERY aspect on my life. I don’t balance. I’m all in on all aspects.

What made you choose a career in Real Estate?

Real Estate is a great career path and I chose it to help people in the community find their next home, business, or lifestyle. I also want to start development side to my business.

Do you have any role models in Real Estate that have inspired your journey?

Jim Bradley is the biggest inspiration in real estate for me, the value added in conversations and his teachings.

Do you have any goals for the next 5 years?

Goals are in the next 5 years to kick off the development side.

What is your specialty in Real Estate?

Listings, First time home buyers, vets, divorce situations, and new construction.

Is there any advice you would give to someone interested in make Real Estate a career?

When coming into Real Estate network, network, network.

How you prioritize a work-life balance in a demanding profession?

Remember to spend time where it counts.

What made you choose a career in Real Estate?

I chose a career in real estate because it allows me to serve people in a meaningful way by guiding them through one of the most significant decisions of their lives-buying or selling a home. I’m passionate about helping families find the perfect place to build their memories. This career also supports my own family and enables me to set an example of hard work, dedication, and pride in what I do for my three boys.

How do you stand out from other Realtors?

I stand out by focusing on relationships over transactions. My goal is to truly understand my clients’ needs and provide them with a personalized, stress-free experience. Being part of a strong team like Real Legacy Real Estate allows me to offer a wide range of expertise. I’m also proud to bring creativity, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to ongoing learning to every transaction.

What inspires you in your real estate career?

I draw inspiration from agents and brokers who have built their careers on integrity, service, and building genuine relationships. My team, Real Legacy Real Estate, serves as both a source of motivation and collaboration. Seeing others in the industry balance professionalism with a commitment to their communities encourages me to strive for the same balance.

Is there any advice you would give to someone interested in make Real Estate a career?

Don’t get in the business to “make money” this is a career of helping people and setting a quality of service that is unlike others. It’s more than a transaction and a job, it’s a lifestyle. Also, have a years worth of money saved from another job before getting into RE because it’s a small business that takes time to make money. Join a great team like ours to have mentors to help you with the start up costs!
