High Street Retail is on the decline, e-commerce is now king. How can we reinvigorate life into our town centres? Beyond the provision of goods and services comes space to guide transformations. Education is the answer.

Stage 3 Design Project

I have a high level of expertise and interest for Graphic Representation. I have strong hand-drawing skills and love illustration. Alongside proficient Adobe Suite ability I have competent skills with Revit, SketchUp etc. I have also taken online courses with Rhino and am building upon that skillset.

We worked with an existing Shopping Centre. Through the means of Retrofit and Adaptive Re-Use nothing was demolished. I ‘Made Do’ with the existing, adding and improving to what was there. I created a masted lightweight steel structure, with an ETFE outer skin. The College was designed to then expand through the Shopping Centre, filling vacant shop-units as they became available over time.
