Competitive Fixtures

l The Academy play in a number of reg onal and nationa competit ons l The Academy also enjoys fr endly matches against profess onal footbal clubs academy sides as we l as elite and deve opment squads. Opponents include Leicester C ty, Barnsley, Nottingham Forest, Bournemouth Burnley Swansea, Luton, Southampton, Fu ham, Reading and Stoke City

Professional Clubs

l Scouts from a number of professional clubs are regular v sitors to Academy fixtures l The Academy wi l he p to facilitate trials at professional clubs l The Academy wi l a so encourage players to represent their national teams where practical and has been fortunate to oversee a number of p ayers obtain ng internat onal honours l The Academy has strong l nks w th pro c ubs in the Un ted Kingdom and overseas

Pre-Season

l The Academy s pre-season tra ning camp takes place at the end of the summer hol days and aims to uti ise the best train ng facilities at institutions such as profess onal clubs, sport departments of un versit es and our own f rst-rate fac lities l The ma n purpose of pre-season is an induction to the Brooke House way and culture alongs de preparing players for the season ahead

Data Analysis

l Many academy fixtures are d gital y recorded and player performance and decision mak ng are analysed by the coaching and v deo analyst team:

- A professional data management system s used to keep record of match and tra ning statist cs, ratings and evaluation

- All data collected is commun cated to players and parents through a players ogin to the their profile on the data management system l Footage obtained can also be distr buted to professiona clubs for the purposes of securing player trials l The Academy uses the most current GPS system which squads can use on train ng and match days, which are then analysed and logged on the player data management system for reference

Sports Therapy

l The Academy Sports Therapist assists w th recovery from in ury and works w th players to prevent further injuries l Our Sports Therapist works closely with the Academy Manager and Co lege Matron to ensure the all-round health of every player

Strength & Conditioning

l The Academy has a ead Strength and Condition ng coach whose role it is to ensure that all players deve op their physical attribute to the maximum l The Academy staff can des gn ndividua train ng programmes to target strength and condit oning l A l Academy players complete regular f tness testing across the season to monitor progress on through several different phys cal tests.

Nutrition

l The Academy coaches adv se players w th regard to their d et and nutr tion l Menus for each meal at the col ege provide a Footbal Academy opt on to help further advice on a ba anced diet l Individua Academy members have their weight, he ght and body fat mon tored n conjunct on with the Sports Therapists. l The academy a ms to ensure that players are the peak of the r health for optimal performance on trainings and f xtures

Bespoke Programmes

The Brooke House College Football Academy can accommodate groups for short bespoke programmes on request.

Short courses give players and teams the opportunity to participate in a course designed specifically for them and the r particular team needs; developing their on and off the pitch ski ls, participat ng in matches, excursions, lessons English, cultural awareness
