Byram Chamber Holds Ribbon Cu ng For Vinyl Hangout

The Byram Chamber of Commerce held a Ribbon Cutting for Vinyl Hangout located at 136 Byram Business Center Drive ( behind Sonic) on Wednesday, January 9th. Owner Janet Wall was joined by Chamber member, and friends. Whether you are looking for iron-on decals for clothing and hats or decals for hard surfaces such as cups and cars. Vinyl Hangout has all of your vinyl supply needs.

Byram Middle School Teacher of the Month

Ms Kimberly Kuykendall was selected as the January Teacher of the Month at Byram Middle School. She is a 7th grade social studies teacher currently working on becoming a Master teacher with National Board Certification. She received an Applebees gift card donated by the TCL Financial and Tax services location in Byram located on Siwell Road. Pictured are co-owners Katherine Thompson and Sequoia Blocker.

Junior Auxiliary of Byram‐Terry Welcomes Incoming Provisional Class

Junior Auxiliary of Byram-Terry welcomes its new active members who, on January 8, 2019, successfully completed the training period for the 2018 Provisional class. For the past six months, these women attended chapter meetings and projects to determine if they wish to volunteer their time to the Byram and Terry communities through this organization for the next five years. Junior Auxiliary is a national non-profit organization that encourages members to render charitable services which are beneficial to the general public, with particular emphasis on children. Junior Auxiliary of Byram-Terry is a part of the National Association of Junior Auxiliaries (NAJA), a non-profit organization founded in 1941 with headquarters in Greenville. NAJA has more than 13,500 active, associate, and life members in 101 chapters in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Tennessee and Texas. The NAJA slogan is “Care Today – Character Tomorrow” and when teamed with the current focus of the Association, Junior Auxiliary Chapters are working more than ever before to increase awareness of child health and welfare and how it affects their futures.
