Happy New MAZE 2025

Idea: Göran Andersson
Get inspired to develop our sport through Maze Orienteering
I completed my first O-competition together with a childhood friend back in 1963. Since then, I have loved orienteering in many different ways, both as an athlete and as a leader/coach/teacher.
For many years I have tried through various possibilties to develop orienteering to become more attractive, more visible, more accessible and not least to become an accepted sport by both society and the media. Orienteering deserves so much more than being a fringe sport. Orienteering is a global sport and it’s our responsibility to ensure that it’s spread and established world wide.
Never have I felt such joy and enthusiasm in recent years when I have been working with Maze Orienteering. I’m very convinced that Maze O is a sharp tool for spreading orienteering globally and that our sport can one day become an established Olympic Sport.
I hope you can be a little inspired by this slide show and that you see the possibilities of opening many doors to a truly global sport.
Good luck with your part in developing the sport of orienteering!
Maze O -beyond the limits!
