Section 1. Authorized Users In this section you will learn about authorized user accounts. These accounts are great for giving a quick boost to your credit score overall. They take little time to post and can be used on any credit file you wish. These are costly but, maybe worth it depending your situation.

Section 2. Primary Trade-lines Primary tradelines can be divided into 5 parts. Rental Trade-lines, 3rd Party Furnisher Via Accounts, Primary Card Deposit Trade-lines, Debt Instrument Conversions, UCC1, and 3rd Party Furnisher Via Purchase. Each one works differently and give you a different result. We will teach you how to do each one below. These accounts have 1 thing in common, they are permeant and not shared.

Section 1 Authorized Users

Method 1. Authorized Users Authorized users are by far the most used instruments to improve credit. They are easy to purchase; you don’t have to worry about any paperwork and you know exactly what day it will post. All of these conveniences do come at a cost.

Authorized users are accounts that belong to someone else. This person will add you as an authorized user on their account. Also known as “Piggy Backing”. These accounts are only temporary on your credit file. So, make sure you are ready to apply for whatever you want when adding this type of tradeline to any CPN or Credit report.

All you have to do is call them up and ask what is available. Make sure you only buy accounts that have at least 2 years of history. And only get cards that have posting dates close to each other. This will give you time to apply for whatever you are trying to do. Remember these disappear 30 days after they first report.

Most authorized users will post to CPN numbers. Some specific cards may not, and they may ask for a copy of your SSN card. Check with the vendor you choose before purchasing any lines. Make sure you know the exact date it will post, the balance and the time open.

For a new CPN or a clean credit file, we recommend that if you choose this option you buy authorized users using the formula below. But, it will all depend on exactly what you want to do.

So, let’s say you want to purchase a new vehicle, get a personal loan or apply for whatever type of lending you want, with a low interest rate. You have a new CPN or a credit file that has no history or very little. You will want to have at least 30% of unused credit vs what you are applying for. For example, let’s say you want to buy a $40k vehicle or apply for any $40k loan, card etc. You should purchase authorized users that will amount to 30% of the loan amount or about $12k of authorized users. So, for example you can use something like this.

This is the recommended formula you use when buying authorized users. You can always purchase more than you need but, never less that 30% of what you are applying for. Like this when you apply for a loan or card banks will feel like you are getting credit because you want it and not because you need it.

Always make sure you check the cards do not have over 10% Utilization. Utilization means the amount of money being used from the actual limit. So, a $5000 Card cannot have more that $500 spent on it in order to boost your score. Cards with a higher utilization may actually hurt your ability to gain new credit.

Also make sure you know the posting date of the card. This is important because Authorized users are temporary accounts that will last 1-2 months on your report. So, knowing the days when they will post is crucial. You don’t want to get cards that post far apart from each other

All authorized user accounts are linked to the original card holders address. It is advisable if possible, to purchase all your lines from 1 person or company. And make sure most if not all of the lines you purchase are registered in the same address. You may need to file a dispute with the credit bureau a few years down the line to have this address removed from your consumer credit report.

It is crucial that you are 100% ready to apply for whatever you have in mind by the time you pay for the authorized user accounts. Remember these are temporary listings on your credit report.

Also, good to know is that if the card owner ever defaults on their account the credit bureaus are not allowed to post any adverse information on your credit file. So, you are free of liability.

Section 2 Primary Trade-lines

Before diving Into the Primary Trade-lines here are a few important things you should know before starting. Primary trade-lines are trade-lines where you are the main account holder.

There are many different types of accounts and methods to add them to your credit. We will explore them all here.

Types of Primary Trade-lines

In contrast to Authorized Users, all of these methods are permanent on your credit report. They will report for up to 7 years as paid in full or open paid as agreed. Some of these accounts will be open. Some of them will be closed. Some will be aged and others not.

With Primary Trade-lines you want to do the following. If you want to get a $50k loan you need 30% in Open Paid as Agreed accounts or a Closed Paid in Full account of 100% of the value of your desired loan.

You should also plan to wait 30-45 days depending on the method you choose for the effects to take place on your consumer credit report. So, it is very important that you plan this out.

Method 1. Rental Tradelines This method is a great choice for a new CPN, or someone looking to rent a new home or apartment after credit repair. The companies below can post up to 2 years of rental history on your credit report. This is definitely one of the tradelines that will impact your score the most.

Normally these trade-lines post to 2 credit bureaus. Transunion and Experian. They may soon update to also report to Equifax. These accounts are great for building your score and getting you approved for smaller cards and apartment rentals.

Before starting there is a couple of things you should always remember. The companies providing rental trade-lines are not in the business of selling “Trade-lines”. They are in the business of reporting rent. So, don’t email them asking about their tradelines.

You will also need to gather a few documents to make this work properly. A lease agreement for your state will be required. We offer a copy of a Georgia lease agreement below for reference. To find a lease agreement for your state simply go on google and do a quick search by typing “YOUR STATE Lease agreement”.

You will also need a friend to help you on this method. They will be acting as the landlord when the company calls to verify your payment history. You can opt to use your real landlord but, that depends on your specific situation.

When picking an address for your lease agreement make sure you know the actual home owners name. That is the name you will need to put in the lease. That is the name they will call your friend by when doing the phone verification.

Make sure your friend or landlord know they will be calling. And make sure they have read the lease agreement so everyone is on the same page. The call will be quick and will go something like this. “Hi this is James from rental report. We are calling to verify rental information for one of your tenants. How long has ETC been living at ETC. How much rent does he/she pay? Have they ever been late on their rent?”

Once the verification process is done you can expect to see the trade-line report in your credit file between 20-30 days later. This will increase your score by 50-100 points depending on how much you reported you pay per month and if you choose to send in more than 1 lease.

You can report 2 years closed. As in 2 years of paid rent on time verified through a lease and an open lease where you have been paying 7+ months.

Pick any 1 of the above companies and do your research on them before starting. Check what bureaus they are currently reporting to, and their reporting fees.

Step 1. Pick rental reporting company.

Step 2. Gather the following documents.

Driver’s License or Alternate ID. IE passport.

Lease Agreement

Step 3.

Fill in your lease or leases carefully. If you want to have closed paid as agreed accounts, remember you need to send in a lease that is back dated. If you want a current open account you need to send in a lease that is at least 7 months old. You can also do a mix by purchasing both.

Up to 24 months back dated and a current lease. Please see sample lease below.

Step 4.

Call your friend/landlord and let him know what you will be doing. And explain someone will call him about verifying your rent. Make sure he knows the amount, the date you moved in etc. If you choose to use a friend that is fine also. Just make sure he uses the name of the actual landlord of the property you are putting as your residence in the state lease agreement.

Step 5.

Call the rental reporting company you choose. Let them know what you wish to report and go through their process. They will ask you to email them your lease or “Leases”. After they receive your payment, they will contact your landlord/friend. Remember he needs to be “The Home Owner”. Once verification is complete you can expect to see your trade-line report in 20-30 days.

Method 2. 3rd Party Furnisher Via Accounts This is by far the easiest primary trade-line process to complete. The best thing about this process is it is very low cost. These accounts can be free or have a yearly membership fee.

Each one will be different. Make sure you read the terms and conditions before applying.

These will be new accounts with no history. But, will show up on your credit report as Open paid as agreed. And even if you do not use them, they will report monthly to your credit report. Not all of them report to all 3 credit bureaus. Check with each one before choosing your accounts.

These are basically super easy to get accounts anyone will get approved for that report to your credit. These are great if you are building credit or a CPN number on a budget. It is invaluable to have as many accounts as possible on file to start out. The higher your total of credit limits is a large factor when calculating your credit score.

Make sure even if you do decide to buy something from these accounts that you stay below 10% of the actual credit limit. This is also another very important factor the credit bureaus use to calculate the credit score on your consumer report. You will want to have as much credit as possible with the least utilization that should be your end goal with this process.

You can choose to apply for only 1 of these or all of them. The more the better for your credit score. Please note on month 1 you may see a decline in your credit score from opening accounts. As the first 30 days pass you will see your credit score start to rise 20-30 points per month using these accounts alone.

It is very important that you use the same information on every single application. If you are using a CPN make sure it’s the same information used in the tri-merge process. If you are using your credit file make sure you use the information you have previously used to apply for credit. If you enter a different address, phone number, name, date of birth or employer that information will also be added to your credit report along with the trade-line.

It is important to remember. These are brand new trade-lines. Once they start reporting to your credit report all you have to do is watch your score go up. As said above about all primarytradelines. They stay on your credit report for 7 years. Even if you cancel your membership the account will still report to your credit file on a monthly basis.

This method can be used in conjunction with other primary trade-line methods in this course to create a very strong credit file. The larger your mix, limit and type of account the faster your scores will start to go up.

Method 3. Primary Card Deposit Trade-lines This method will show you how to exploit the credit card providers reporting process. When you open a Credit Card it is instantly reported to the credit bureaus. Even if that account does not show on your report right way. The information has already been transmitted to the bureaus.

This is great for us because we found a way to exploit the automated reporting system.

You may be saying to yourself. Well, how will this work for me if I probably don’t qualify for any cards. That may be true for unsecured credit cards and loans but not for secure cards. These are the cards we will be going after in order to make this process work.

First you need to understand you will need at least $500 on a debt card to do this method. You will still have the $500 at the end of the process. We will just need it to make the initial deposit on the cards. This will trigger the lender to report a new account to the credit bureaus.

Since the credit card lenders report right away, this will make an open account in good standing appear on your credit effortlessly. The best part is it looks like a normal card in good standing.

Not an authorized user or a co-signer, a real Primary-Trade line.

Depending on your budget you can choose any limit you want. You will have to initially have those funds to place a deposit to open the secure card account. Once the process is done the money will be back in your bank account safe and sound.

The best part is you can repeat this process as many times as you want with different banks.

This will give you multiple open accounts in good standing. Like with method 2, these will be new accounts. So initially your score may drop a bit.

After 30 days you will see your first score increase. You can expect to see about 15-20 points per month on a single card. If you post multiple cards to your file the possibilities are endless.

This process works on any credit file including CPN numbers.

Step 1.

Choose the company you will use. The above is just a reference with accounts we have used and are currently working. You can literally use any card that reports to the credit bureaus and offers a secure credit card deposit program.

Step 2.

Fill the online application. Make sure as with everything else that you use the correct name, phone number, address and employer. It should all be the same as in previous applications.

This ensures a smooth process and will save you time in the future trying to remove errors from your consumer credit reports.

Step 3.

Fund the account. These secure credit cards as mentioned above all requires a deposit. The minimum on most cards is $200-$300 you need to have at least that much on a debt card in order to finish this step.

Step 4.

Wait for the account to post to your credit report. Once the account is posted to all 3 credit bureaus make sure the following things are true.

Correct Limit No additional information was added to your credit file.

If either of these are wrong contact the card issuer right away and have them fix it before requesting back your deposit. This process can be from instant-30days.

Step 5.

Your account should now be posted and showing as paid as agreed. It is now time to contact the lender and close the account. You will contact the lender via phone using the customer service phone number on their website. Simply tell them you no longer want the card and want your deposit to be returned to your debt card. If you receive the secure card before canceling do not activate it. This makes it much easier to close.

Method 4. Debt Instrument Conversions It was common practice until recently for people to form small businesses with just a small office and offer to report accounts to your credit for a fee. Anywhere from $250-$2500 depending on the account age balance etc. That is highly illegal and is the reason these companies do not exist anymore.

While they were doing this smarter financial planner had already been doing something better for years. It’s called an assignment of debt. Where in simple terms just means you purchase an account from a collection agency and transfer it to whoever you want.

First thing you need to know before calling a collection agency looking for accounts. You are 5+ Year Old debt. Ask them for older accounts they have. Don’t get swindled into buying new debt because banks will not change the status and it will basically be money lost.

The reason for this is accounts under 5 years old are still under the statue of limitation in most states. Meaning the original lender may still be seeking to collect on this debt and may charge you an additional fee to settle the account before transfer.

Also, since you are buying older debt, don’t pay more than a few dollars per account. We normally purchase debt between $5,000 and $15,000 for anywhere from $50-$150 per account. If they are charging you more call someone else.

There are THOUSANDS of collection agencies with piles of old debt. Aim for things that are past the statute of limitation on the issuing state. In most cases its 4 years but, make sure you do a quick google search for your state and the issuing state.

Step 1.

Figure out your budget and what you are trying to accomplish.

Like I said before we normally purchase debt between $50-$150 per account. If you are trying to purchase a car and just need a small boost a $10k account will do the trick. If you want to buy a house a few $5k and a $15k account will do. If you are just looking to get high value loans and credit cards do about $20k in combined accounts.

Please note there are others fees besides the actual trade-line you need to account for.

Postage, envelopes, and the time it takes you to complete the process and other unforeseen things that can happen. I always calculate my budget and cut 10% off for all of this. So, if you have $300 to spend on trade lines spend $270 and use the other $30 to complete the process. Everyone is different this is just my advice.

Step 2.

Find a list of collection agencies to call. Try to avoid calling the bigger companies like Midland, Enhanced Recovery etc. Most of us know these from our personal credit reports.

You can also do a quick google search for “Debt Sellers”

Please note there are hundreds of thousands of debt sellers online. We will not assist you in finding a seller. Some people can find an account in 1 call others have to call dozens of places. This is up to you to find and negotiate. We always use the resources above.

Step 3.

Contact the agency directly. Please make sure you call or email these companies during business hours. Have a notepad to write down the information they give you. Ask for older accounts. When they tell you what they have and the price you need to make your own decision on purchasing the accounts or not. Remember there are thousands of agencies and millions of accounts to choose from so, don’t let them corner you and force something on you.

Normally they will say well we have portfolios starting at $2500. Just laugh and say let’s start at $100 and work our way from there. What can you offer me?

Step 4.

Make sure they can send you the proper transfer documents. In writing they must tell you the original creditor, the original debtor and all their info. Plus, a certificate of ownership. If they cannot provide this walk away because you cannot use the accounts without it.

Congratulations you are now the official owner of the debt and as the owner have the right to do with the debt as you please. You can pardon it, transfer it, and try to collect or reassign it to yourself or clients.

Step 5.

Absolute assignment of debt and Notice and Direction letters attached below. Where you, the “assignee” to “transfer” the debt to yourself or client. If you are doing this for a client make sure all the details about the transaction are on this document. This is your proof of agreement to assign the debt to the client or yourself. You can negotiate a monthly price but, once you transfer this account you can’t get it back. We suggest you charge 100% upfront.

Step 6.

Send both letters below certified mail to the original creditor or collection agency listed on the ownership document provided by collection agency from your purchased debt.

Step 7.

Sit back and wait for the account to be updated and reported to your credit file. The process takes 10-30 days depending on the creditors reporting cycle, please be patient.

Step 6.

The account should appear on your credit with the following remarks.

Dispute resolved; reported by grantor RESPONSIBILITY TERMINATED FOR (CREDITORS NAME) Status: “Paid in Full” or “Paid as Agreed”.

The Assignor acknowledges and agrees that all its or his rights in respect of the Debt have been assigned to the Assignee but that the acceptance by the Assignee of this Assignment shall not impose upon the Assignee any obligation to take any steps to effect the collection of same or to ensure that the Debt does not become statue barred by the operation of any law relating to limitation of actions, or otherwise.

(2) Duty to correct and update information. A person who regularly and in the ordinary course of business furnishes information to one or more consumer reporting agencies about the person’s transaction or experiences with any consumer and

Method 5. UCC1 State Filings This method will teach you about UCC1 State filings. These filings are financial records published by your local clerk’s office. So, in essence a court document that is posted online.

Making it public record. This method is great for weak credit file as it will boost your credit score and give you an extra boost in the public records part.

For those of you who do not know what a public record is. It is a record made public by a government, or reporting agency establishing your identity as true. It basically means you filled some form of document which is made public record. Banks and lenders research public records as part of your loan underwriting.

When this information is made public record and the bureaus pick up on the information you will see a boost in your credit score. This process is easy and cheap but, may take up to 60 days to post to your consumer credit report.

Here is an example of how a UCC1 works. Let’s say Jane and Joe are friends. Jane sells Joe something of value, anything. For argument sake we will say a Gold Ring. Joe promises to pay Jane for the ring within 2 years.

Jane decides to make it official and visit her local courthouse with Joe. They tell the clerk they want to file a UCC1 and pay the fee, each state is different. When the courthouse processes the paperwork (30-60 Days) Joe will now have an account on his credit based on the same stipulations Joe and Jane provided to the clerk.

Steps to complete UCC1 Filing

Step 1.

Find out what you want to trade with your friend. Whomever you decide can keep custody of the item, don’t make it complicated. Jewelry is always the best option when filing UCC1’s. If you have had the item appraised or have the original receipt even better, attach it to the filling.

Step 2.

Find the UCC1 filing paperwork for your state (Google it. Just type in UCC1 Finance Statement and your state.) Each state is different. We will be using California just as an example in this process. You must find an updated version of the UCC1 Finance Statement for your own state.

Step 3.

Fill the document using the instructions provided with the UCC1 Filing Statement. Remember every state is different. We use California as an example below but, if you are in another state the rules for filling the UCC1 Filing Statement may greatly differ. All UCC1’s come with instructions.

Step 4.

Present the document at your local court house. Stand in line pay the fee turn in the paperwork.

When the UCC1 gets reported publicly, the bureaus will automatically pick it up and put it on your file. This will increase your credit score instantly. This is a great option for anyone looking to build a strong credit file. These lines are treated with priority during fico calculations.

Please make sure you fill out the paperwork before arriving in the court house. The clerk will most likely not be very helpful. You may want to get a free consultation with a finance attorney in your area to find out about any extra information they may need to file.

Method 6. 3rd Party Furnisher Via Purchase This is not really a method. It’s more of a warning to anyone looking to purchase primary tradelines from a 3rd party or information furnisher.

A couple of years ago it was common practice for people to purchase AGED PRIMARY TRADE-LINES from a company offering them for credit boosting purposes. There is a big problem with this method that everyone turned a blind eye to. These accounts are FAKE. Thus, making them illegal because you may be defrauding a financial institution using them

Most people were using them to boost their credit for legitimate purposes. No one cared and life was great for anyone in the credit repair business. You could find a Primary trade-lines with 2-3 years of history for around $500-$600. Times were great and everyone had perfect credit.

Then came the scammers and criminals. People started to use these trade-lines to boost the credit scores of thousands of stolen identities. They would then walk into a bank and obtain a loan under the stolen identity then, cash out and disappear.

Until that point Primary Trade-lines were sold by small time furnishers and people setting up bogus companies to specifically re-sell primary trade-lines. But, no one cared until the fraud started rolling in.

Now, if you are caught uploading false information onto a credit bureaus system you can end up in prison. So even though people are still selling these trade-lines you should really stay away from them.

Most if not all offers for aged trade-lines are a scam. They will take your money and give you nothing in return. The credit bureaus have tightened down on this method. And is almost impossible in todays credit world. Unless you have a long time, established business and decide to go rouge with your reporting.
