PROCESS
Octuber, 2021.
"Rosita Esponjocita" is a story that gave life in a writing workshop with GRELISAL. She is a character inspired by my childhood, where I return to situations that I lived in, but at the same time, other people as well. I intend to create a story that transports you to your childhood and helps you heal the wounds of that inner child.
FLORECER
December, 2020.
"Florecer" is a collection of illustrations that are born under the context of a pandemic. In A year marked by uncertainty, pain, and loneliness. However, although that was a path we did not choose to live, within the chaos we experienced some gratitude. This calendar is born from the need to feel good, from the hope that a better tomorrow awaits us.

ZULE
October, 2020.
“Zule” shows us that hope can be felt in many ways, that our struggle looks different every dawn, and that courage is in embracing all emotions. It is living day by day.
This is a design born in honor of my mother and her fight against breast cancer. She expresses my deep gratitude to the health personnel who accompanied her, and to the female collective that for years has joined together to fight hand in hand, with hope, strength, and courage.
CAMBIA LA HISTORIA
January, 2023.
"Cambia la historia" is a journalistic project by DW Akademie aimed at making visible the layers of structural violence against women and the LGBTQI+ community that are less noticeable, deeper, and socially accepted.
The 10 investigations carried out are an example of how a complex issue of violence can be approached through constructive journalism. I worked on 5 illustrations based on the journalistic works of the scholarship holders. These were applied to the website and promotional products.
YO SIENTO (EMOTION CARDS)
August, 2023.
I worked on this project with "Entre Colores y Sombras", a theater and dance company that collaborates with artists with intellectual disabilities alongside those without disabilities. Their work is dedicated to raising awareness and sensitizing people to the importance of universal accessibility.
These cards were created as a tool that aims to create greater emotional, personal, and collective awareness of emotions. The graphic experience of emotions through the cards makes it easier for users to verbalize their emotions and some feelings or circumstances surrounding them.
The two characters are inspired by roles in a play by the company called "Tintino."
YOLA
September, 2023.
Yola tells the story of a young DACA recipient, who goes on vacation to San Juan, Puerto Rico but experiences unexpected twists including an emergency landing in the Dominican Republic where he meets a young woman named Yamaris. They embark on a life-changing adventure together.
I contributed to this production by illustrating the backgrounds and designing the poster.
COLOR SCRIPT
The colors were used to convey different emotions in each scene.
HISTORIAS AL MARGEN
September, 2023.
"Historias al margen" is a book featuring three stories that aim to convey the message that the margin of error does not end when you "regain freedom." And that surviving torture, mistreatment, humiliation, and prison impact you forever.
I created the illustrations for two stories, and it was a significant challenge. I was committed to avoiding any re-traumatization of the characters. To achieve this, I chose to develop a series of conceptual illustrations, assigning a distinct color to each one.
