New Employees As from 1.6, we have taken on 44-year-old Markus Berthelsen as warehouseman. Markus comes from a job as foreman at Nuuk Transport and has also been a taxi driver. Furthermore he is familiar with the warehouse job as he once used to work at our warehouse in Nuuk. Oslo On 1.7, Morten Wean, 40 years old, started as freight forwarder in our domestic and local customer department. The recent four years, Morten has been employed with Kim Johansen. On 1.8, we welcomed our new general manager in Olso, 42-year-old Thomas N. Kejser-Lervik. Thomas comes from a similar position with DSV. Rio de Janeiro Fernando Poli, 34 years old, joined our team as operational assistant on 15.3. Fernando is a postgraduate in analysis, design and system management. Cintia Appel, 27 years old, has formed part of our team as logistics coordinator since 19.3. Cintia has for the last four years been handling import and export shipments at other freight forwarding companies.
Staff Redeployment Having completed his apprenticeship in Billund, Casper Gade will start in our sea freight department in Esbjerg on 1.8. On 1.8, Simon Hungeberg Egsgaard will move from Esbjerg to Blue Water Billund to serve his second year of apprenticeship in the courier department. On 1.9, Diana Vanggaard Kaag returns to Denmark after three years at Blue Water’s Gothenburg office. Diana will now form part of our project team in Esbjerg. Before Gothenburg, she was working at our Aarhus office. As from 1.9, Martin Andersen will be transferred from Blue Water’s Herning office to Billund to become involved in airfreight export. 22
Sao Paulo 40-year-old Carla Tamioso da Costa joined our team as freight forwarder on 27.2. Carla has been engaged in transport since 2003 and prior to joining Blue Water, she was employed with JAS & Itatrans-Agility mainly involved in import. As from 7.3, Daniel Elias, 28 years old, is employed as operational analyst. Daniel has been working with transport for the past 12 years. He used to work for Caroline Shipping, one of Blue Water’s close business partners. Daniel’s past career also includes jobs with CSAV and the reefer department of Kuehne & Nagel. Seydisfjordur As from 1.12.2011, Jafet Sigfinnsson, 21 years old, is employed as fulltime freight forwarder after a period of part-time employment. Jafet is primarily working with export from Iceland to Denmark and the Faroe Islands.

Weddings
Tbilisi On 1.7, Maia Chekurishvili, 50 years old, joined our team as logistics assistant. Maia is already a familiar face as she was employed with us back in 1998-2000.
Births On 20.2, Morten Agertoft Thomsen/Blue Water Esbjerg, became a father. Baby boy, Simon (3.940 kgs / 52cm), was born in the home on the living room floor with daddy as midwife. The little family also includes big brother Mathias, aged 7, and big sister Emilie, aged 6.
David Earp/Blue Water Manchester tied the knot with his fiancée, Natalie, at their local parish church in Partington on 5.4. The event was celebrated by all colleagues from Blue Water Manchester together with David and Natalie’s beautiful daughters, Ruby and Lucy.
On 23.3, Ann Rasmussen/Blue Water Odense gave birth to a lovely baby girl (2.845 kgs / 47 cm). The little girl is doing fine despite the fact that she was four weeks premature On 31.3, Klaus Odby Jensen/Blue Water Esbjerg, announced the birth of his baby son Frederik (3.040 kgs / 54 cm). Rainer Rahbek’s/Blue Water Esbjerg, son, William (3.160 kgs / 50 cm), saw the light of day on 19.4. On 8.5, Kristian Kragh/Blue Water Odense became a father of a boy named Carl Valdemar (3.250 kgs / 52 cm).
Priscilla Souza, General Manager of Blue Water São Paulo, and her fiancé, Denis Andreatta, got married on 19.5. The occasion was celebrated with a small, private party.
