Can You Get a Job With an AWS Certification?

Another day, another student asked me if they can get a job with their latest certification. The answer depends on many things, including your location, the economy, and whether or not you know the right people in your network of potential employers. How does an AWS certification affect my chances of getting a job? then this post will tell you what you need to know about getting your foot in the door and securing that first job after completing your training and certification courses!

What do you mean by certification? By working with AWS, you can obtain a variety of certifications. The AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate is just one of them. In order to become certified, you must pass an exam that tests your knowledge of AWS. AWS also offers certifications for several different technical roles that make it possible to work on specific AWS services. Cloud Practitioner is just one of those roles, and it covers basic skills in working with AWS. It’s designed to be an entry-level certification for people who have some experience working with AWS but may not be specialists in any particular area. There are three levels of Cloud Practitioner certification: Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced. The exams for the three levels of Cloud Practitioner certification each involve their own separate volumes of material and take quite a bit of effort to prepare for.
