How to Add your Podcast to your Facebook Page
To add your podcast to your Facebook Page from your desktop, follow these steps:
* From Page Settings in classic view or Manage Your Page in the new pages experience, select your Page and access podcasts. * Select Podcasts from either view. *Select Add podcast from the drop-down menu. * Click Add after entering your public podcast RSS feed. Your podcast hosting platform provides an RSS feed, which is used to send new episodes to your subscribers. Listeners can stream your podcast straight on Facebook page from anywhere you host it if you add your RSS feed to your page. Note that we do not currently accept private RSS feeds. * An authentication code will be emailed to the email connected with the RSS feed you submitted in the previous step to validate your ownership of this podcast. To finish the verification process for your podcast, click Continue. * Select Authenticate Podcast and enter the code that was emailed to you. The authentication code is valid for only two hours. If your code has expired, click the resend code at this step. * Then select Authenticate. A green check mark will appear, indicating that your podcast has been successfully validated. * A tool that allows listeners to automatically share small segments of their favourite episodes to Facebook will be enabled. Toggle the Enable clips function on and off. *Press the Publish Podcast button. You only have to do this once, and your podcast can be unpublished or removed at any moment. * On the following screen, you'll see the podcast you just added has a Published status, as well as a list of any additional podcasts on your Page. *On your phone, go to your Page and look for the Podcasts option as a button at the top of the screen. Note: If you're using the new pages experience, go to the Photos tab and select Podcasts from the drop-down menu to find your Podcasts tab. *Feed posts will be generated automatically for episodes that were released two weeks prior to the day you uploaded your podcast to your Page, as well as all new episodes.
