The Butler University online Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA) equips you with the necessary analytical skills to generate data-driven insights for improved decision-making. Our curriculum, taught by industry professionals, goes beyond the technical and empowers you to gain proficiency in soft skills, like critical thinking and storytelling, so you can take data further.
With a concentration in Business Analytics and Health Analytics, the online MSBA program provides a foundation on which you will learn to integrate core concepts, such as artificial intelligence, data mining, and predictive modeling, equipping you with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into actionable insights.

Coursework
The MS in Business Analytics program consists of two foundational skills courses, four core courses, and four concentration courses. Through our flexible online model, students begin the program with two foundational courses over a 14-week term and then take one seven-week course at a time.

All applicants to the Master of Science in Business Analytics program must possess a baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution or the international equivalent prior to enrollment at the graduate level.

Butler offers the opportunity for online MSBA candidates to be considered for credit for prior learning or experience. Specifically, in consultation with our program director, you can complete a competency assessment and potentially receive a waiver with completion credit for one or both of the Foundational Skills courses (up to four credit hours).
