Business Data Analytics
Majors
Application
Combine computer programming, data, and hands-on experience in business contexts to prepare for in-demand roles like data analyst or software developer. You’ll learn how to analyze and tell stories with data, develop your own software tools in multiple programming languages, and earn industry recognized credentials in Excel, Python, SQL, and Tableau—all in just two years. Graduate ready to launch your career or transfer seamlessly to a bachelor’s degree program at Butler in fields like Data Science, Software Engineering, and Computer Science.
Business Management Studies
Blending core business skills with critical thinking and communication, you’ll be prepared for leadership roles in just two years. Earn industry credentials like Excel and Python, complete a paid internship, and be prepared to launch a career in management, sales, or marketing.
You’ll also have a clear transfer path to Butler’s Lacy School of Business to complete your bachelor’s in areas like Marketing, Finance, or Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
Healthcare Studies–Clinical Science
Prepare for a hands-on career in direct patient care with the Healthcare Studies–Clinical Science major. Learn to perform lab techniques, interpret medical data, and understand test results—skills that can lead to roles like an EMT or a leadership role within the Certified Nursing Assistant field.
You’ll also have a smooth transfer path into a bachelor’s degree at Butler in Biology, Health Sciences, or Healthcare and Business. This program can also be a strong foundation for future degrees in Nursing, Public Health, Respiratory Therapy, or even Pharmacy.
Healthcare Studies–Medical Coding
Get career-ready for high-demand roles in healthcare—without direct patient care. This program prepares you for national certification exams like Certified Professional Coder® or Biller®, and includes two required integrated healthcare practicums for real-world experience.
You’ll have the skills needed to join the healthcare team in roles like billing and coding, with remote work options available. You can also continue your education at Butler with a bachelor’s in Health Sciences, Healthcare and Business, or Public Health in just 2.5 more years.
Youth and Community Advocacy
Prepare for careers in education, nonprofit work, youth programs, and more—all in just two years. This hands-on program includes two internships, industry credentials (like Child and Youth Care and Mental Health First Aid), and courses focused on advocacy, education, and youth development.
You’ll graduate ready to make an impact or transfer into a related bachelor’s program at Butler, including Youth and Community Development, Elementary Education, or Sociology.
