BUTLERS CHOCOLATE CAFÉ

The very first Butlers Chocolate Café opened in 1998 in a beautiful corner building on Wicklow Street in Dublin’s city centre. ​ Butlers Chocolate Café is an innovative and muchloved brand serving the highest quality coffee, luxury chocolates and food in a stylish and welcoming setting. ​​

+B menu is frequently updated with limited edition drinks and r passengers a taste of what is on trend. In 2025, it was all about 026, trending flavours include miso caramel, passion fruit, Cherry, berry iced matcha. This keeps the offer relevant and interesting for frequent flyers and draws new customers in.

All coffee served in Butlers Chocolate Cafés is 100% Fairtrade certified.

Butlers Chocolate contains zero palm oil & where possible, ingredients are sourced locally in Ireland.

Because better chocolate shouldn’t come at the rainforests expense.

Butlers Chocolate is made from 100% sustainably sourced cocoa. €1 million invested in cocoa communities.

With over 7000 m2 of solar panels on our factory roof, solar power provides 25% of our electricity and saves 169 tonnes of CO2 each year.

We practice 0% waste to landfill in our factory.

We use fully recyclable paper wraps on our twistwrapped truffles. Saving approximately 15 tonnes of waste annually.

Technology Self Ordering Kiosks

The addition of self-serve kiosks has helped streamline the model in very busy environments by offering faster service, improved accuracy and greater convenience.

These kiosks have reduced pressure on counter tills points whilst improving accuracy and speed during peak hours.

30% of all transactions in Dublin Airport go through the self-serve kiosks.

Store Formats Butlers Chocolate Café have a variety of store formats, ranging in size from a kiosk of 10 sqm to a large format store of 150 sqm. Our store models range from those selling take away coffee only in fast-paced environments to Shopping Centre or neighbourhood locations where that much needed coffee and chocolate pit stop is needed.

Our model is flexible and adaptable.​ We currently have 30 Butlers Chocolate Cafés in the Irish market and a further 6 internationally. ​ We have a newly developed kiosk concept and Chocolate Café Trailer concept, both of which have been developed with airport opportunities in mind.​
