Waterfront Tourist Destination Set to Open in Sharjah

Sharjah Waterfront The Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq) said that the building on the Kalba Waterfront, the region's largest retail and first inclusive waterfront attraction, is virtually finished. Eagle Hills was created In the fourth quarter of 2022; guests are expected to arrive at Sharjah Development, a joint venture between Shurooq and Eagle Hills, a waterfront attraction in Sharjah's Eastern Region. The first phase, which spans 3 million square feet, will start construction in the fourth quarter of 2015 and be finished in the third quarter of 2018. The project's first phase is expected to see the construction of up to 200 residential and commercial skyscrapers, 95 apartment buildings, hotels, and service flats, as well as at least 1,100 beachfront and park-side villas.
The Aim behind Creating the Waterfront According to Hayssam El Masri, president of Sharjah Oasis Real Estate Development, "our mission is to establish Sharjah Waterfront City as the pinnacle of seclusion, elegance, and status," the local newspaper Khaleej Times said. The project has received all necessary permissions, and infrastructure development is well underway. The reclamation of land, the building of the canals that connect the 10 islands and the piling have all had been finished.
