In order to become an Automotive Repair Dealer (ARD) whose primary functions include altering, repairing and diagnosing any malfunctions in a motor vehicle you have to apply for a Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR) license for the same. The process of registration begins with the completion of the ARD application form and paying the registration fee.

The application to obtain the BAR Repair Permit is $200.
