ANNUAL AWARDS PROGRAM FRAMEWORK

OVERVIEW

The Knightvest Annual Awards Program is designed to recognize top performance across the organization using a data-driven and consistent evaluation model. All nominees are selected based on measurable results, with a structured process to ensure fairness across property types, sizes, and roles.

Each category follows a standardized approach:

PROPERTY AWARDS (BY YEAR BUILT)

These categories normalize performance across asset types by grouping properties based on year built.

Property of the Year: 1991 and Before

Property of the Year: 1992–2004

Property of the Year: 2005–2016

Property of the Year: 2017+

Additional Category:

Most Improved Property (all years combined)

Evaluation Criteria:

Occupancy percentage

Net leased percentage

Renewal percentage

Delinquency percentage

NOI and expense control

Compliance and audit scores

ONSITE OPERATIONS (BY PROPERTY SIZE)

To ensure fair comparisons, onsite roles are segmented by property size.

Small Portfolio (Under 300 Units)

Large Portfolio (300+ Units)

Assistant Manager of the Year

Small Portfolio (Under 300 Units)

Leasing Professional of the Year

Evaluation Criteria:

Occupancy and net leased performance

Renewal percentage

Delinquency control

Conversion rates (leasing)

Operational accuracy and compliance

CENTRALIZED REPRESENTATIVE OF THE YEAR

Centralized roles are evaluated separately from onsite teams to ensure alignment with their scope of impact.

Portfolio impact and performance influence

Response time and support efficiency

Accuracy and execution

Contribution to operational improvements

MAINTENANCE AWARDS

Service Manager of the Year

Assistant Service Manager of the Year

Service Tech and/or Make Ready of the Year

Porter and/or Housekeeper of the Year

Evaluation Criteria:

Average work order completion time

Make-ready and turn time

Work order volume completed

On-time completion percentage

Emergency response time (if tracked)

Quality and rework rates (if available)

Resident satisfaction or service scores

Finalists are selected based on KPI performance and supported by a brief summary of imp

Portfolio performance (occupancy, NOI, delinquency)

Team performance and development

Operational consistency across sites

EVALUATION PROCESS

Combined KPI score and voting results determine the winner

COMMITTEE STRUCTURE

A rotating committee of Knightvest industry professionals is assigned to each award category.

Each committee member oversees 1–2 award categories

Members are selected annually to ensure fairness and diverse perspective

Responsible for KPI validation, review, and final determination of winners based on KPI% and Vote %.
