Before we introduced our first Premium Beach Umbrella, the unassuming source of shade had long been relegated to the background—functional but forgettable. We redefined its role with a fresh perspective and design-forward approach, elevating the humble canopy from a utilitarian necessity into a statement piece that anchors and enhances outdoor spaces—from intimate patios to luxury resorts.

Originally designed for commercial clients seeking the iconic “mushroom shape” reminiscent of early 20th-century design, the Patio Umbrella has become a signature piece in the B&PCo collection.
Inspired by the precision of the yachting and marine industries, it combines a range of specialized components including 316 stainless steel, aluminum, fiberglass and teakwood accents—resulting in a uniquely striking and exceptionally durable umbrella.
