For staff, members, patients, visitors & volunteers

UHDB celebrates its first birthday with ‘Good’ rating We’re absolutely delighted to be marking our first birthday in style by celebrating with a ‘Good’ rating from the Care Quality Commission (CQC). Our staff have shown an incredible commitment to making our new Trust the best that it can be for our patients since UHDB was formed on 1 July 2018. We’re thrilled that the CQC has recognised this following its first inspection of the Trust. The healthcare regulator inspects services to assess whether they are safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led. The report found us ‘Good’ overall and each core service, including Medical Maternity and Critical Care, was rated ‘Good’ for caring.
