Magic on the Mountain

Dear Friends of Burritt on the Mountain,

We wrapped up a successful season of our spring/summer event, Backpack Explorers, which brings hands-on learning and discovery to children. We are grateful to all our sponsors who make this program possible, and especially to our title sponsor, Damson Automotive, for their generosity and commitment to inspiring young minds. Mark your calendars for Saturday, November 8th for this year’s Round Top Folk Festival. This beloved festival celebrates music, traditional arts, and community, and we cannot wait to share it with you. We have a couple of additions this year, including a performance by Microwave Dave at 12:30PM and a brunch to kick off the day. Be sure to get those brunch tickets early, as they are likely to sell out!

While fall is just beginning, we are already in full holiday planning mode. Member tickets are on sale NOW for Haunted Mansion, Holiday Magic, Candlelight Christmas, and Sanders Family Christmas. This year, we are adding a new holiday luncheon on Tuesday, December 9, which will be a perfect way to gather with friends for a festive afternoon.

I am excited to share an update on our 70th anniversary campaign. We are just $15,000 away from reaching our $70,000 goal which means we are already 75 percent of the way there. Every gift helps preserve Burritt’s history and ensure its future, and we are deeply thankful for the support we have received so far.

There is so much to look forward to at Burritt this fall. I hope you will make plans to visit, enjoy our upcoming events, and share the celebrations. Your presence, participation, and support make all the difference in keeping Burritt thriving for generations to come.

Warmly,
