MILFORD, DE – November 14, 2008 – Burris Logistics has completed construction of a 265,000-square-foot refrigerated and frozen food distribution facility located at 490 Brook Street, Rocky Hill, Connecticut. This facility is Burris’ 17th warehouse and is servicing BJ’s Wholesale Clubs located in the Northeast. This 9.6 million cubic feet facility with 30,000 pallet positions is conveniently located to I-91 and I-84, and is less than 100 miles to New York, Boston, and Albany. Burris is one of the largest temperature-controlled logistics companies on the East Coast with facilities located in; Rocky Hill, CT, Philadelphia, PA, Elkton, MD, New Castle, DE, Harrington, DE, Federalsburg, MD, Lyndhurst, VA, Chesapeake, VA, Benson, NC, Sumter, SC, Atlanta, GA, (2) Jacksonville, FL, Orlando, FL, (2) Lakeland, FL, and Haines City, FL.

Concrete (including foundations, slabs, and truck apron pavement) = 12,906 Cubic Yards or 48 Million Pounds. Earthmoving = 452,770 Cubic Yards or 1.2 Billion pounds of soil & rock transferred on site, imported, or exported.
