TheBurntwoodWakesisacontinuationofTheChaseWakes,restartedbyBurntwoodTownCouncil in1970afteran11yearhiatus Nowservingthewholetown,"TheWakes"startedinChasetownasa publicholidaythatfollowedanall-nightvigiltohonourtheChurch'ssaint.
The Wakes has gone through many incarnations as it changed to suit the times in which it was held,butithasalwaysbeenthehighlightoftheyearforthearea.Amixtureoftheoldandthenew, wehopeyouhaveafantasticday.
