Harvest Bowl- more like Harvest Goal. People from all over Burleson who participated shared one common goal: to better their community. Key Clubbers helped out this event by organizing the items donated into trailers Everyone had a blast helping out and getting to know each other!

Around this time every year, Burleson usually celebrates the day it was founded, hence the reason its’s called Founder’s Day. This year we decided to do something a little different than we usually do. This year we decided to have a Kiss the Dog booth and sell goody bags, calling them “doggy bags”, filled with candy and donate a portion of what we made to our local animal shelter.

This was my first year doing Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF and it was a different experience. We really got to explain to the residents throughout Burleson why we were raising money. It was nice to know that what we were doing was going to benefit so many people, even if we were just a group of teenagers asking for donations.

Boo Bash was also a first for me. I had never seen so many children in such a short amount of time. It was adorable to see all of the younger kids in their costumes asking for candy so nicely. Although we did run out of candy before the event ended, we all had fun handing out the sweets to kids. It was a great way to end such a long day.
