Letter from the President As the new Key Club begins, there’s a lot that I’m hoping that BHS can achieve and our new board of officers can do. We had a really great year this past year I enjoyed serving as our club secretary and now that I’ve taken on the responsibility of being the president I am hoping that we can increase our membership in our club and have more and more service events. I have so much planned for this year and I’m excited to see what our new board and new members can do to make it to the top 25 again. This year eight of our club members went to DCON and learned a lot about how we can improve our club while making a lot of new friends. I am hoping that we will be able to use those ideas and work together with our new LTG in district board to make this year amazing. -Urvi Dalal, President

DCON came and went by once again. Last year, our club ranked 19th in the T-O district and our board was determinded to beat that, and we did. We managed to be 12th in the T-O district this year and all of us are so proud about what we’ve accomplished as a club. We’ve gained a lot of experience and hope to do even better this year.

Those of us who went to DCON had a blast! We bonded by playing card games (where we realized that our president, Urvi, was really competitive) and eating tons of snacks. We learned so much at the forums and got to become “wizards for a few days! It was a great opportunity to meet kids from all over Texas and Oklahoma who have the same passion for making a difference in their community.
