NEW! HPBA KEYNOTE ADDRESS BY DAVID BROWN

Hot Spots 2.0: How to Convert Emotions Into Sales... Indoors & Out Thursday, March 8 8:00am – 9:15am New to the show this year! A Keynote Address by David Brown, Partner at Hoffman York from Milwaukee, WI will take place prior to the show opening in the Grand Ballroom. David will reveal the findings of an extensive $100,000 research study of
over 900 consumers who were interested in either major remodeling or purchasing a home. He’ll address how homeowners’ views of room design – including a wide variety specific hearth and outdoor design concepts - have evolved. This is an unprecedented, can’t-miss opportunity for anyone involved in hearth and outdoor living who would like insights into how to increase purchase intent.

NEW!

Barbecue Your Breakfast

Saturday, March 10 | 9:00am – 11:00am

New to the show this year! Come see how breakfast gets done on a grill! From mimosa and bloody mary bars, to samples of barbecue breakfast offerings from outdoor exhibitors, to live Nashville entertainment, what could be a better way to start your last day at HPBExpo? How about a Celebrity Cooking Demonstration by The Cooking Channel’s Shannon Ambrosio, host of Big Bad BBQ Brawl. Working on Napoleon grills, Shannon will be cooking up one of his signature recipes and providing retailers ideas they can duplicate in their own store demonstrations. Shannon will also be conducting a meet-and-greet at the Napoleon booth on Friday afternoon. Stay tuned for details.

About the Speaker: Since joining Hoffman York in 1992, David has consistently developed solid strategies and campaigns in b2c,
b2b, building products, and manufacturing arenas. Prior to joining HY, he managed national advertising at Kohler Co., building the “Bold Look of Kohler” brand to the number one position it enjoys today. His extensive experience with leading companies such as Kolbe Windows, Merrillat Cabinets, Pulte Homes, Kohler, Milgard Windows, and Napoleon, gives him invaluable perspective on the important intersections between brand, channel, consumer, and product marketing. BONUS! Copies of the Hot Spots Design Guide, a 60-pg. hardcover book filled with design ideas and techniques based on the study findings, and a detailed outline of the Hot Spots Research itself, will be distributed to all those who attend this signature event.
