One of the most well-known corporations in the Philippines is San Miguel Corporation (SMC). They have been one of the largest and most diversified conglomerates in the Philippines for over 130 years. One of their core values is to help each other to succeed. They firmly believe that their greatest resource is ‘malasakit’

True to their words, SMC has granted five (5) scholarships for students under the relocatees. Relocatees is the term they used for the people residing in Sitio Bunutan and Sitio Capol.
These two (2) places are part of the coastal areas of Bulakan. These students are studying at Bulacan State University-Meneses Campus (BulSU-Meneses).
They are under the Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED), Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSEd), and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA).
These students are receiving a full scholarship plus an internet allowance. Incidentally, Sitio Bunutan and Sitio Capol are also the adapted community of BulSU-Meneses since (2017).
Following the discussion with the campus director, Dr. Marita R. Parobrob, SMC has expressed interest in providing further scholarship grants to ten (10) more eligible and underprivileged Bulakan students attending BulSU-Meneses Campus.
The BulSU-Meneses Campus and SMC cooperation officially began with this endeavor. Many projects are currently underway.
